NARUTO--Japanese Anime: okay for kids?

My 9 yr old son is going to sleepover at a friend's house tonight and he's asking about watching Naruto movies. They are unrated and I'm hoping a few on the forum will be familiar with them.

Our policy is no pg-13 movies unless my husband or I have seen them and said okay, if that helps to give a frame of reference. Also, our biggest concern is closely monitoring sex/sexuality in media after a hugely upsetting internet experience at a friend's house.

A quick glance of my local library catalog shows that some are in the juvenile collection while others are not. I recommend calling your public librarian and speaking to someone is youth services. Most youth/young adult librarians are well versed in anime.
