Hi Nancy.

I was shopping at www.drugstore.com for something and ended up buying my first ever box of Larabars to try! I've been on the hunt for a clean, nutritious on-the-go snack. I've heard you rave about these over and over again so I figured I'd give them a shot. They DO sound rather tastey!:9

Thanks for the enable! I'll let you know what I think once I get them. I got the pistachio flavor.

I went to a local health food store and bought every flavor to try. I suggest doing that. I don't like every flavor. My favorites are lemon and cherry. Yummmmmmmeeee! Haven't tried pistachio, but I expect to like that one. It's calling me from the kitchen...

Nancy is a very good enabler. Kathryn, too. They got me to try them.

Hi Wendy! Pistachio? I haven't seen it, but sounds yummy.

Actually, if I was enthusiastic about them, it was mostly because they are so squeaky clean. For a bar that has absolutely nothing in it but fruit and nuts, they're pretty darn good. For taste, I'd rather have a Peanut Butter Cookie Lunabar any day, but Lunabars are much more processed, so I try to limit my intake.

Be careful not to bite down too hard. Occasionally there is a piece of nut shell that can chip a tooth.

Since I was the enabler, please let me know if you like them (but don't tell me if you don't ).

Another person who was enabled here...I just received my first box (I will be ordering more!!). I love them! I have tried apple pie and banana nut so far and they are delicious and great for lunch when you have no time!!

If you have a Whole Foods or Wild Oats nearby, you can get them from there. I also found a few flavors at Target. You can check the website (larabar.com) for dealers in your area. Also, gotbody.com has a variety pack of 12 in addition to the regular packs.

Got my Larabars today in pistachio. HAD to try one right away!}(

Very tastey!

I got a free sample of a food bar from hammernutrition.com and they are very similar. I was going to order more from hammer but larabars are not as pricey and are basically the same thing.

I'll be trying other flavors too!:9

I haven't seen the pistachio! Sounds yummy! I prefer the cherry or apple pie! You can buy them at Kroger in the natural/ organic section w/ the Power/protein bars.
