Cathlete
Okay, I think that it is safe to say that Cathe will not be responding to my request to review this rotation, so I wondered if you all wouldn't do it for me and give me your opinion. I have been doing it now for two weeks and I am enjoying it. Please please please review it and tell me honestly what you think.
Thanks,
Cynthia

Hi Cynthia! My eyes are blurry from trying to read all of that! Here are some things I noticed:
You have great variety! I like the way you spread out the CTX cardios over the first few weeks, and how you ease in to doing each body part twice per week. I also like how you have weights before cardio--I've been doing that lately, and really like it.

My only concern, which is probably just personal preference:
I noticed that you never have a rest day after a leg workout, and that in fact most workouts following your legs are very intense--IMAX or Stepworks or kickbox, all of which really rely on your legs alot. This would be tiring for me, and I would also be worried that my legs weren't getting sufficient rest time...
As for the rest, it looks very intense--I know I would cheat on this one, and definitely make some of those cardio sessions lighter ;-) I know you're cross training by doing step, hi-lo, and kickbox; would you consider taking one or two videos out per week to do walking or running to prevent overuse, though?
Wow, you really put a long time into this! I'm impressed. I hope others will comment, too.
Have fun!

Wendy:

Thanks so much for your input. As a matter of fact, I have been personally taking out some of the cardio tapes and running, but the request had been for an ALL video workout, and that it why I did it like that.

Also, since the request had also been for a six day rotation, I would have constantly had to put the legs last. This doesn't always work with the ps/mis cycle, so it is almost like I ran out of days, if that makes sense. However, I did go for fatigue in the legs and personally never had a problem doing IMAX or a step or tae-bo tape the following day because I wasn't working my legs in the same way at all. I actually found, and again, this is personally, that when I did a good cardio the day after legs it made them feel better if they were at all sore because by working them just a little (with no weights), I broke up the lactic acid. This worked for me, but I could see the concern there. This rotation, I feel, is pretty advanced and for a die hard. I am really looking to be tight and toned at the end of this rotation, so I am going for the gusto as the expression says. I believe that you are correct in saying that this rotation would probably have to be tweaked for someone who was looking for a different goal than mine.

Thanks for your input. I really appreciate your feedback.
