My Polar HRM died

It was beeping continually. I couldn't take it. No matter where I put it, I could still hear it. And like the impatient jacka$$ I am I threw it out in frustration. The next day Shelley told me I should've just taken the battery out. DUH Laura!!!!!! x(

Anyway, does anyone know if I can get a replacement watch instead of having to pay full price for a whole new set?

ETA: I did check on ebay & found a couple used watches. That kind of skeeves me.

How funny that you just posted this because I was searching for an old post this morning and found an old one of yours saying how you caved and got your first HRM! So sad..... *tear*

Anyhoo, I just got MY first hrm the other day and am LOVING IT! I got it online at www.heartratemonitorsusa.com they have free overnight shipping right now and if you type in the code "galaxy" they give you 20% OFF!! I got mine for $71!! (It was a Polar F4 though). I love it!

And yeah, I wouldn't get a used HRM. That's just nasty.

This may seen stupid but have you changed your battery? Mine beeped just like yours before it died....I had a new battery put in and now it works fine.

Not Repo, but changing the battery yourself is pretty easy. Beats the cost/wait to ship it back and forth.

I have a Polar F6 and when the battery went I just took it to one of those kiosks in the mall that sells batteries etc and the guy there put it in for me. Any watch place or jewelery store should be able to do it.

Crap! I am such an idiot. I guess I'm just gonna have to get a new one. :-(

It didn't bother me at first, but you know I have this Excel spreadsheet where I rate all my DVDs by cals burned. It bothers me now b/c I got all these new workouts & I don't know where to put them on my chart. I use that chart almost every day--my cardio intensity always depends on what I've eaten, my schedule, how much sleep I've had, etc. etc. I have to rate those new DVDs!
