My Pictures--Very Scary!

Hi everyone!
I finally did it! After seeing all of your before and after pictures I finally got up the guts to take before pictures of myself in my swimsuit! My daughter took the pictures; she's 9 and we were laughing so hard during the process. But boy is it a reality check when you see pictures of yourself in a swimsuit. Very scary! I'm hoping the pictures will motivate me to eat clean. The workouts are no problem; it is the eating that gets me down. Anyway, I had to share with you all that I did it!

Thanks for all the motivation and tips I receive from you all!

The eating part is hard for me too. I'm really trying to clean it up, and I've been feeling a bit deprived! But I've seen enough examples on this forum of how well it works, so I'm sticking to it!

Shelley,
When I can post pictures that look as good as you, then I'll post my "scary before" pictures. By the way, you look awesome and certainly give me motivation!

Until then, I'm keeping the before pictures to myself. I don't want to scare anyone just yet!

A Challenge for You!!!

Kerry:

I am with you on not being ready to share pictures here. I am very much a transformation in progress. I started a PictureTrail album on the 4th of July last year when I started my first Cathe rotation. I have shared my pictures with the Ya Yas in the past, but the first thing I did when I joined Cathe’s forums this month was put passwords on all my albums. I am 75 pounds below my top weight, but I am still at least 55 pounds above my goal weight and definitely do not look like a Cathe girl!

My “before” pictures were taken at 260 pounds with 50 percent body fat on a small 5'3" frame. No matter how bad you think you look now, I am confident that your pictures are not that bad! ;)

I think we should challenge each other to set a deadline for sharing our pictures here. I know that would motivate me to keep pressing on. The 4th of July would be good for me. Are you in?

Blessings,
Heather B.

RE: A Challenge for You!!!

Kerry I know what you mean. I had my son take pics of me on Feb 1 and they are most def scary! I'm with you when you say you'll share your before pics once you reach your goal. My weight loss pics also have a password on PT.

Good luck with your goals!

RE: A Challenge for You!!!

I think pics are a great motivational tool even though it feels embarrassing and stupid when taking them (unless you are lucky enough to understand how the time delay works on your camera AND you can run back to your pose in time, hehe). I took "before" pics recently and you can bet I am not posting them anywhere until I have the "after" set to go with them! I really put on a few pounds over the winter, due particularly to my bout with the "cow-like grazing over sugary salty objects for hours upon hours for no rational reason" disease.

Anyway, good luck! I would be up for the 4th of July post!
