my oven stinks!

it smells sorta like smoke when i use it. obviously needs to be cleaned. what do u use? i am cooking everyones favorite cookies at a potluck friday so i dont want them to stink! right now my apartment smells aweful. i'll have to open the windows.

Back in the day, I used Easy Off and it worked great. But I haven't cleaned an oven in AGES, which is very telling...

I purchased Easy Off Fume free oven cleaner and it says safe for self cleaning ovens on the front of the can.

I have one of those ovens that self cleans. It cleans at a super high temp and burns everything off. I can't use chemicals on it.
Talk about smell while it is self cleaning It's gross. Which reminds me. I really need to clean my oven.
