Hi Mommies!
Well, both of my other kids were born at 38 weeks, and my third (a baby boy named Ryan Christopher) decided to come early at 37 weeks!! He was born at 5:32pm on Tuesday, Jan. 2nd. He was 7lb. 7 oz. and 19 inches long at birth. He is absolutely precious, sleeping and eating well. The delivery was very quick, basically 2 pushes and he was out, although my labor was a bit crazy. It only lasted for about 6 hours total, but my contractions were very irregular and extremely long in length (5-6 minutes). I ended up having to have pitosin (spelling?) to regulate them, but once I had regular contractions things progressed very rapidly.
I'm sooooo happy he's here, and since I had such a quick delivery with no tearing, I was able to come home today. It's so nice to be home, and his brother and sister are so excited about having a new brother and very eager to help
