Hi everyone,
I don't post much but do read the forums frequently.
I can't believe I did it but I trained "faithfully" for 8 weeks and ran my first 5K yesterday at the RiverBank Run in Grand Rapids, MI with a chip time of 25 minutes:40 seconds. I couldn't believe the thousands of people that were there to run.
I'm very happy with my accomplishment. When I first started training I thought there was no way I would be able to finish; since the first day of training stated: Run 1 minute/walk 1 minute for 20 minutes and it was hard!!
This morning, I was checking out another 5K race over Memorial Day weekend! I haven't worked out with Cathe's workouts as much while training and I certainly do miss them.
Thanks for reading.
