My brother is leaving SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!

It's Sunday morning and I'm thinking about you and your brother and your family. Sending hugs, and prayers your way! He's doing a WONDERFUL thing!!! Please try to keep that in mind when you feel like crying...it may not stop you from crying but maybe the tears will be a little "happier" then...Maybe!

thanks ladies. i appreciate the hugs and thoughts. we all got together last night and today. his leave time got extended until tomorrow at noon so we will be going to the recruiter's office to see him off. we have had fun all being together and i took lots of pics like i always do. dh made it home last night, so he was here today to hang out and spend time with Dylan. They are pretty close, so i was relieved about that.

Hi Jes! I'm sorry I missed this thread! I will def keep him and your family in my thoughts & prayers. Glad you all were able to spend some fun time together before he headed out. Keep us posted and let's see some of those pix!!!

he called me right before he boarded the plane to tell me he "loved me best" and that he was counting on me to write him alot. we have a bet and i am supposed to be able to do a one handed push up by the time he gets out. i have 13 weeks:eek:

I LOVE your photos.The one where you're teaching your brother to walk is precious! I looked at your picture trail as well--they're all great pictures. It looks like you have a special bond. And I agree with Tammy--he's gorgeous!

Ditto that! I have to tell you, I've been getting a little weepy reading all these posts about husbands and brothers going off to Iraq. There are no words to express how brave I think they are.
