Mutant Cherries???

So I bought some bing cherries at the grocery store yesterday. And they are soooo good! I love fresh cherries! But what is the deal with all these "mutant cherries"? The best I can describe them is conjoined cherries - two cherries joined together and sharing one stem. I have bought a lot of cherries in my life, but never recall seeing anything like this. Maybe cherries I've bought before were sorted to remove the "defective" ones? Or maybe these have been mutated by the use of pesticides? Does anyone have any idea what is up with all the mutant cherries? They taste the same, but just look creepy. :p

ETA: Ewww, I just found one where one of the "twins" is all shriveled and tiny - it looks like a cherry with an "outie" belly button! (Or something else... but I won't go there) x(

They're alien cherries. If you eat them, the aliens will be able to track you down, then they'll come in the night and take you away to experiment on you in their alien spacecraft. Then they'll wipe your memory and dump you on a deserted road in the Arizona desert. True story.

OH, YEAH!!! I remember that part in the movie when she's projectile vomiting all the........oh, sorry, Emily...NEVER MIND!! x(
