You guys have talked about certain books here that helped you with your new baby. The only one I can think of is "Happiest baby on the Block". What r the others you consider invaluable as a resource once baby was born and/or really informative? I am going on vacation this week and want to go to the library and take a few with me to read....

Thanks!!

Ooh OOh Ooh!!!

Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child - by Marc Weissbluth - I lovelovelove this book.
Both of my kids are the best sleepers EVER - thanks to this book. Because they are such good sleepers they are also some of the happiest, healthiest kids I know.

What to Expect When You're Expecting was always my favorite. Then the same books (What to Expect the First year & What to Expect the Toddler years).

I second all of the above books. I also frequently reference American Academy of Pediatrics, birth through 5. It's really good for figuring out all the illnesses of childhood (pink eye, 5th disease, roseola, thrush, skin stuff, etc).

I love The Baby Book by Dr. Sears. It has saved me so many phone calls to the doctor. It's a reference boook, and everything is in it.

Also, when you hit the 2-month mark with baby, you might want to check out The Vaccine Book by Dr. Sears, Jr. It's a good education if you care to know.
