Music Website?

Well I am kinda bumb because I have an Ipod that I just got for my son that was in the lost and found at my job for over a year, but anyway he did have a dell and all the music that he download from Musicmatch will not go into the Ipod well that really stinks but anyway my question is I have a dell and now he has a Ipod what webesite will let you download songs that can go both into an Ipod and Dell? Does Itune let you download music that can be put into Dell, I already know it can for Ipod. TIA

I have a Dell laptop and an IPOD and I use iTunes.

Me too. I think you can use Itunes with any brand. Also, did you try saving your music on a disk and then putting it on the itunes library? I think you can save your music on an MP3 format and transfer it that way.
Just an idea.

Pixie9 is right! I used to have a creative and then bought an IPOD. I transfered all of my music to mp3 put it on a cd and then downloaded it on my IPOD. I took a long time - but it saves you from having to buy the same songs again. You might need to download software that can rip it to a cd - you can find that free on the net.

Are you asking if there is an online music store that can download to a dell mp3 player as well as an IPOD? Or if Itunes works with a Dell computer?
Each music store will tell you who they are compatible with - I have not found one that is compatible with both my creative and my IPOD

and...

Itunes will work on any computer - I have it on a Sony and a Toshiba Laptop and it works great.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I did try one of my sons cd that he already burn music to from musicmatch and just upload to Itune and then into the Ipod but it just says track 1, track 2, ect. So I guess he will have to listen and rename the songs. But long as it works and your right I don't have to buy them again, thanks goodness.
