Did anyone ever do one of these races? My husband signed us up for one in November and it looks a little scary.

I have a friend who's done one in Idaho and loved it! Definitely more work than a regular 10K though!

My nephew (age 25) and his wife did one in St. Louis back in May, I think. The pictures from it looked like it was a true workout. They were both sore for a few days afterward, but are both in pretty good shape. I thought it looked like a blast. I hope your husband has fun!!
