Hi all!
I am new here. I am just about 6 weeks pregnant with my third child (I have two girls ages 2 and 4). With my first pregnancy I was able to keep exercising but that all stopped once my dd arrived. I was a slug straight through to my second pregnancy and beyond. Finally, almost a year ago, I was able to get back into regular exercise 5 days a week at 5:30 in the morning. I feel really good about it.
The bummer is that I'm starting to hit the exhaustion/nausea of the first trimester. This morning's workout was miserable. I'm not sure if I should keep at it and just try to do something, even just a little yoga, so I can keep up the morning routine. Or, should I give it up for a while and take the extra sleep? Will I lose the routine if I do that? It was so hard to get into the habit. Are any of you morning exercisers? Have you managed to keep it going through the pregnancy? I know I won't keep it up if I have to do it at any other time of the day and I'd really like to be more active with this baby. Any ideas would be great.
Thanks,
Lisa
