More makeup or less?

I can't say more about how wonderful NARS products are....brightening serum, Laguna bronzer, copa cobana shimmer, and orgasm blush - guaranteed to make you look 10 years younger and you don't look like you are wearing make-up at all.

No, I just spray it directly on my face & blend it all over w/the brush, including under the eyes.

Nancy, you are so right about the powder--nothing looks more aging on aging skin than powder! I got a sample of that Bare Minerals stuff & OMG it made me look 10 years older.

I'm 48 and cannot wear that mineral stuff, either. But, while I get loads of compliments on my complexion BECAUSE of my green label Cover Girl foundation (it's like a magic eraser, making all my weird little pigment issues disappear) it's getting so I really need to re-think the matching pressed powder.

My skin turns to bacon grease without the powder but the powder is too matte. What do you use to keep the shine down?

I don't think there is a one-size-fits-all answer to this dilema. I'm 49 and I rarely wear makeup. Thanks to genetics, I am blessed with very good skin and look younger than my age. I never enjoyed wearing makeup. When I do wear it on rare occasion, I wear tinted moisturizer, mascara, and lip gloss, that's it.
