^^~ Monday MELTERAMA*~^^

Ah, now I want to go shopping! Somehow grocery shopping isn't as much fun. ;-)

Tneah -- Yes, stepmothers can be a real pain, can't they?! Is your dad doing OK with his wife? OMG! I just LOVE everything! The outfit you have picked out would be perfect for a wedding; the light top really lightens up the black skirt, and would be perfect. And that skirt from Anthropologie is just adorable. I have to admit, though, I esp. love those straw shoes! They are the cutest things ever! Did you get them recently? It all looks lovely, and I bet you'd look gorgeous in it! Isn't it nice to get some new bras?! I picked up some Wacoals a few weeks ago at Nordy's, and love them. I usually get Chantelle, but didn't like how the new styles fit. I'm a bit of an unusual size (32D), so Nordy'ss is one of the few places that actually carries my size.

Lainie -- I just LOVE that dress, too! I saw it on the Loft website, but wasn't sure if it would work with the boobage. You should try it on and post a photo of you in it! I bet it looks adorable on your curvy figure. Glad you did alright with your ankle with In the Ring. Isn't it fun? I was going to take a rest week until Friday, but I may try Circuit Zone on Wednesday because I'm looking forward to something new! Thanks, too, for the input on the self-tanner. I'll try it out soon, when I'm feeling brave!

Robin -- Glad you resisted the junk at work! It's so hard not to eat cr*p when you're bored. What was in the petit pacquet? Hopefully it wasn't something from Monsieur Le Petit Pacquet!;-) Edited: Looks like we were posting at the same time! Loved the images you sent, too, Robin! :) You are all so funny and sweet! I've heard about these wonderful pants, and will have to seek them out next time I'm at Costco.

Speaking of new clothes, the other day, I was wearing some new jeans that I had just had hemmed, but they're already too big on me. (I bought them on-line from Nordstrom and they were really cheap.) I said something to DH, and he replied, "Well, you need to stop buying new clothes." I was so upset because I haven't been buying any new clothes at all -- even though nothing fits me! I still haven't worn the new small Lucky jeans since I was thinking about returning them b/c I hate to spend so much, but I may end up keeping them after all since they're the only things that fit me right now. It's a good problem, but a little frustrating, too, b/c I have all these beautiful clothes that aren't working.

OK, got to get back to work!

Leanne, get your clothes taken in? Is that a possibility? Of course you would have to find a good tailor, and jeans are the one thing that you probably could not do that with...nice problem you have going on there...everything too big!:7 I love my straw shoes too! I got them from Saks 2 years ago...I had the heel shortened 1/2 inch so now they are comfy. I think I will go with the black (maybe, I am weighing what Robin said, I might be the only lass in black which might be weird) for the rehearsal dinner, and then do the more "garden party" outfit for the wedding? I do not know, maybe the other way around...I am in such a state of confusion here. The host told me to wear a 'cocktail" dress. Sheesh. Nordy's is having a bra sale coming up this week FYI, of course! I think I may have a bra by Wacoals, you are tiny girl, well tiny with big ta-ta's.;) Dad is hangin in there, I don't know, its a hard situation, I believe my stepmom is mentally "not all there".

Robin, thank you for the vagina information, I appreciated that.:7 Ha! You are so funny, and thank you for your much needed opinion on the black ensemble.

Ok kids, I need to go do my leg workout and walk my pooch in the hot sun.x(

Leanne, ignore your DH. That's what they all say, no matter how long it's been since you've bought anything for yourself. Keep the jeans! Especially if they fit. Is there a seamstress who could help resize any of your clothes?

Robin -- Thanks for the good advice -- I definitely need to ignore the DH! I seriously have not bought any new clothes for probably five or six months, except for the two new pairs of jeans, and that was only because the dark wash jeans that I occasionally wear to work are literally falling off me. I think I will keep the new jeans since I do like how they fit. (I have to get them hemmed, though, since I'm a shortie.) Good idea about the seamstress, too! I should bring some stuff in and get some estimates. How was your workout? Did you have some healthy snacks since you're at home now?

Tneah -- Sorry that things are strained with your dad and his wife! It's nice that you're so close to him! How cool that you got those heels shortened! I didn't even know they could do that! You and Robin both had the great idea about trying to get some clothes taken in, and I think I'll look into it. As for the wedding outfits, that seems like a good idea to maybe do the black for the rehearsal dinner, and the garden party outfit for the wedding. Is the wedding in the day? (I tried to look through your posts about it, but couldn't find if you said it was a day or evening wedding.) If it's a day wedding, the garden skirt would definitely be perfect! Do you already have the white blouse for it? If it's in the evening, maybe you could wear the garden skirt with a black top instead. Yes, finding things to fit the boobage (for all women, no matter what size we are!) is definitely hard, huh?! I swear that I've lost some boobage, but when I got measured a few weeks ago, they said I'm the same size. I tried on some C cups and they were too small, but I'm not quite filling up the D cup the way I used to. I guess it's sort of like the Goldilocks . . . this one is too big, that one is too small. We all need to be happier with our bods, though, right?! ;-)

Lainie -- What did Brian think of the new dress? It's definitely sexay, and you probably look smokin' in it!;-)

Alright, DH just got home and is taking a nap before his Kung Fu lesson. I think that I'm going to go preview my new Tracey Staehle workouts so I can do one of them on Wednesday. Then I have to go get my dad at the airport. If I don't get a chance to check back in, hope you all have great days tomorrow!

I am just the posting fool today aren't I? And over very shallow things like clothing choices, my apologies, I really am a pretty well rounded gal...I just tend obsess over silly nilly things. Having said that...

The black shirt with that skirt is a fabulous idea! Loving that look, would I do a black patent type shoe with it then or stick with the straw looking ones? Hum. Its an afternoon wedding, that will surely run into the evening...thanks guys for listening to me prattle on...;)

Hello Melters.

Tneah-Your black dress is so pretty, I have black patent leather shoes that would be perfect with that outfit.

Today, I relaxed and rested alot this afternoon. The motrin and the wrap are working good. My new ice pack is helping too, which I will take to work and use it on my lunch hour (with the Motrin).
Seville and Madrid have been staying with me all day long. They sensed something is wrong. Might catch up on reading this week.

They changed the forecast and no snow here. Thank GOD. It's supposed to warm up by the weekend (60s).

Have a Great Night.
