Moms to check in for week of Jan 15

hello ladies, I have never posted on the check in mostly because I forget to write down my work outs and then I forget, Well not this week. Hope everyone is feeling good.

sun:45 minute circuit train on treadmill along w/ upper body weights
mon:stepblast
tues:cardio and weights
wed:kickmax low impact premix w/ leg add on
thurs:eek:ff
fri:body fusion cardio only/pyrmaid upper body chest, biceps and triceps
sat:ryhtmic step
 
Sunday - 45 minutes high step training - upper body & cardio
Monday - 40 minutes low impact step
Wednesday - 1 hour high step challenge
Friday - 30 minute Total Body sculpting

Had my first experience with Braxton Hicks. I never had these with my first. Took some days of rest till I talked to my doctor and found out what was happening and that this is completely normal. She said alot of women do not feel these with the first but usually do with the second.

okay ladies, since this is my first, can anyone tell me when to expect braxton hick if they are to happen? i am 17 weeks and haven't had a twwinge except a tuggingin my pelvic area that seems unrelated to exercise. also, how long did you all do regular abwork?

my workouts for the week were good. i was lucky and had some nice weather and could enjoy running outside (though it is sooo hard now). i am afraid this week won't be the same as it is so cold and icy and windy.

sun - run 6.5 mil,strength train 25 min
mon - run 6.5, strength train 25 min
tues - run 7 mil
weds - run 6.5, strength train 25 min
thurs - spin class, walk 1 mil, strength 20 min
fri - run 7 mil
sat - elliptical 40 min, lo max step only, body conditioning 45 min class

i really need to get some new videos i think as winter will not be going away anytime soon.
 
WOW now thats a workout. I am so impressed that you can still run comfortably. I starting getting braxton hicks with my 1st pregnancy around 24 weeks. I did have preterm labor with my ds at 33 weeks so after that point I was contracting all day long until 39 weeks. I think that you start noticing braxton hicks earlier with your 2nd pregnancy(atleast thats what I have been told) I also did rarly any abdominal workouts with my 1st..as for my 2nd I am still working my abs just not flat on my back

I'm feeling much better this week than I've felt in along time. Seems as if I was sick forever.

Tues.- Firm
Wed- KPC
Thurs. 3 mile power walk
Fri- Beach Body Mix it up
Sat- Firm Cardio sculpt
Trying for six days this week!

I am 17 weeks.(Due June 25th) This is the first week of Braxton Hicks for me. Like I said before I never experienced them with my first. This whole pregnancy has been different though. Lots of nausea and heartburn with this one. I am glad this is my last!

I experience Braxton Hicks only like twice with me first. So far none with this one and hopefully will not, they hurtx( Not everybody gets them so that's a plus. My father in law is an ob/gyn so I ask him stuff ALL the time.
I bet everybody on this pregnancy forum are just beautiful pregnant women with all the workouts you all do. I"m so impressed and think it's sooooo terrific. I have friends that don't move a muscle and then complain about swollen ankles!!

For the runner! 6.5 miles, how impressive, good for you.

I have Lo Max on it's way, I"m psyched to work that in. I happen to really like the 3 I do above, they keep me in good shape;-)
 
Hi Everyone,

I am new here at the forum, but not to Cathe. I just found out I am pregnant, but don't know how far along. I think I am 7 weeks or so. I am 24 and have been married for 8 yrs, and have a daughter who is 4. I never worked out through my first pregnancy. I am working out now while pregnant. I have tons of DVDs, but only have been using 2 of Cathe's since I don't really know how safe it is to use all my other workouts. This is what I have done this week:

Monday- Body Fusion
Tuesday- Low Max
Wednesday- Body Fusion
Thursday- Low Max
Friday- Body Fusion
Saturday- Low Max
Sunday- Rest

I have lots of WHFN workout, FIRM, and CIA's and more. Would you guys suggest any other workouts that I can do from what I have while pregnant. Thank you!

Welcome to all you new mommies to be on this check in.

I never had braxton hicks contractions so can't give any info on them. I am feeling great but looking very pregnant.

Now to remember my workouts:
I did a firm/fitprime week.
Sun-fitprime time crunch + firm half(standing) of firm vol. 1
Mon-1st seg. of totally cool step+steamin cardio. Later that night did step segm from christi-5004.(just got humble beginnings dvd)
Tues-strong bear+1/2 of tough tape
Wed-wed-cardio sculpt+cardio sculpt blaster
Thurs-up and down
Fri-gay gasper-greatest step
sat-weights first+upper sect. from super body sculpt
