Hi all you mommies to be.

Its been a rough week here. DD awoke at 3:30 am mon. throwing up. I had my gestational diabetes test scheduled for 7 am Mon. I left dd with hubby and took the test. Poor DD threw up Mon. and Tues. and barely ate all week. She still has diareah and as a result awful diaper rash. This bug stunk. In the process, doctor told me I didn't have gestational diabetes but my numbers my close to the gestational diabetes numbers so I should reduce sugars and carbs. Now I am more hungry than ever. Despite the hunger and lack of sleep I am actually feeling pretty good. Haven't weighed myself yet this week. Hope you other ladies had a better week than me.

Workouts:
sun-powermax
mon-new bodybar workout+aeropump
Tues-stepfit+quickfit cardio kick-core
Wed-firm better body and buns(modified abs) +firm time crunch(no abs)
Thur-stepworks
fri-tj-cardio party 2 +firm tough tape 2
Sat-lowmax +mission possible -step

I had a pretty good week. I have been very busy at work with no end in sight so I am hoping I can keep up the pace. At least I only work 3 days a week.

Monday - 35 minutes IMAX 3 modify blasts
Tuesday - 1 Hour Hardcore Extreme Hi and Low Impact/modify Imax 3 blasts
Wednesday - MuscleMax Upper Body
Thursday - MuscleMax Lower Body
Saturday - 40 minutes LowMax

I find even when I eat small amounts I feel extremely full as if I have binged! Is anyone else experiencing this? I am 26 weeks.

Hello ladies, this has been a better week than the past few, I got a few good workouts in. I am starting to get tired easily now and I can either clean or workout but not both. I hate when our kids get sick I think we feel much worse than they do. I am not feeling that full feeling when I eat but if I did not know better I think I may have dropped a little. I go to the dr.s on wed. so we will see.

sun:eek:ff
mon:imax3 step only
tues:basic step with upper body add ons
wed:timesaver#3 no weight work
thurs:eek:ff
friday:circuit training treamill and weights
sat:eek:ff

hi rachel. i am just 2 days ahead of you and have been experiencing the same fullness issues. it is definately related to what foods i eat though. if i have cereal for breakfast, i can eat a lot more than if i have fruit eggs and toast. not a good thing always. but somedays i find i feel full all day regardless of what i eat. it is strange.

mary, i am feeling fatigued lately too. on my really long work days, i am a total wreck at the end as i normally do not sit down at all. hard to imagine the next 13 weeks. what do you do?

Rachel, I wish I felt full. I am waking in the night starved regardless of what I eat. On the positive side my energy is good but I do only work PT and can sit on the job . I am a therapist. Morris, even a nonpregnant person would tire a few hours after the workouts you are doing. I wonder if you cut the workouts down a little if you would have more energy later in the day. Mary, I am carrying high so don't feel I've dropped yet, isn't it too soon to drop? DD is feeling well finally but has now become a Barney aholic and wants to spend every minute watching Barney like she did when she was sick.

I feel you ladies on the fatigue! I'm up to a full hour nap every day...

I was out of comission almost all last week and the week before - a week ago Thursday I came down with Benign Positional Vertigo (BPV), which basically meant that I got dizzy every time I moved my head. Long story short, it was 48 hours (in which I did nothing but lay in bed trying not to move my head) before I got in to see my doctor, and during the trip I threw up about 10 times (sitting up, walking, getting in the car, driving...it all made me sick). I've been on Anti-Vert for about a week now, and am slowly recovering. I would not wish this on anyone!!

Anyway, one of the ways to deal with BPV, according to experts, is to do activities that induce vertigo (so that your brain can adjust), so I have been trying to get my activity up. Here's my workouts last week:

Mon: 30 Minute Walk
Tues: Kathy Smith Project You Foundations
Wed: Cathe's Basic Step (thank goodness for this tape!!)
Thurs: Cathe's Basic Step Lower and Upper Body Add-ons
Fri: Basic Step
Sat: 30 Minute Walk
Sun: Kathy Smith Project You Yoga

I am almost back to normal now, so I look forward to getting back into my routine!!

linda - is the bpv pregnancy related? how long will you be on the anti - vert? so glad you are feeling better and able to stay active. hope things continue to progress well.

The vertigo is not related to pregnancy - just a fluke thing. The research I've done says that 50% of cases have no known cause - the other 50% are age-related (I'm only 30) or occur after head trauma.

I'm hoping to be off Antivert this week...although I will be calling in a refill just in case.

Hi beautiful bellies!!
Well in a nutshell, since I can't specifically remember each day:eek:
5 days a week, I mix up Lo Max, I still do blasts but I mix which intervals I pick a day and usually do about 35 minutes. I know one of the time I did Step Jam, no more though, no more jumping for me. I'm starting to lose my breath kinda right away now. But still at 6 inches. I'll continue Lo Max until I know I'm going to probably just do Basic and Walking towards the end. I can't wait to purchase new dvds after though. There's so many I want!:)

Last night we grilled chicken and made our own burritos, and I had one big burrito and 2 hard tacos.  It was sooooooo good!!! But I can't believe I ate that much:7 I guess I could say I wasn't feeling full.

But I've been eating sooooooo much fruit!
Linda, sorry to hear what you're going through, how awful. I hope you are doing better and wish it away for you quickly.

Everyone have a wonderful week.
