Hi Everyone! I have been doing well with my workouts (mostly lots of walking and modified Cathe/some weight lifting too). When I was doing one of the exercises on Supersets that required me to lay on my back on the stab. ball and pull the weights over my head, I felt a sharp pain, so I took that to mean, "No more exercise on my back." I was fine-I stopped right away. I will just have to stand while doing the exercises.

I am still nursing a bad cold. Actually, it's my annual September-October bronchitis. I called the OB-GYN today, and they said it is fine to take Robitussin, and to call either them or my family doctor if it doesn't get any better in 2 days. They said that having the bronchitis won't hurt the baby, but will, of course, make me uncomfortable. It's my first baby-what do I know??? I will probably have to be put on an antibiotic. My family doc used to be an OB-GYN, so I have trust in him.

Imani-have you thought of any names yet? I know it's really early, but I am curious.

Does anyone have any easy, nutritious (but yummy) snack ideas??? I am getting sick of mozzerella cheese sticksx(

Take care! I hope to hear from all the expecting moms out there!!!

Hi Jen!

My doctor also advised me to take Robitussin extra strength for a bad cough. I'm now careful of how I cough when lying in bed though, some positions give me ab pain as I cough- lying on my side helps.

Everyone at work now knows of my pregnancy, as I spilled the beans to a few of my co-workers. I asked them to help out my substitute this week for materials, advice, etc. It was nice to hear their good wishes, and one teacher when I called her immediately said "Congratulations!", having had put two and two together.

Here are my workouts this week:

Mon. Shiva Rea Pre Natal Yoga
Tues. Cathe KPC 30 min.
Wed. Cathe PS Legs
Thurs. Cathe PS Chest, Shoulders and Triceps
40 min. walk (stroll with DH)
Fri. Cathe PS Back and Biceps
Kari Two the Max Step (20 min.)
Sat. Gardening (Lots of cleaning and weeding! I'm counting it as exercise!
:p

Hi guys! I'm doing pretty good lately. Thanks for the words of encouragement last week. I guess any exercise is better than no exercise. Last week I did 3 15min workouts and 1 30min workout (Firm Upper body sculpt) and then I went to curves and did that one time.

My husband and I haven't really discussed names yet. All I know is that we want the name to start with an R. The baby will be named after my Great Aunt Rose. My problem is that I don't want to use common names so if you know of some unique R names, let me know.

I had my first doctors appointment last week! It was long but exciting. The doctor said that my uterus was a good size and that put my mind at ease. We go for an ultra sound next friday. I can't wait until then. Seeing the baby will be so cool.

Hi Girls! So, Jen, you finally told everyone? Yes, people get VERY excited when they find out someone is pregnant:) It's nice to hear something good about someone, and babies are definitely good news! Glad to hear you're doing well.

Imani, an unusual name that begins with "R"...I knew a girl named Ragen (pronounced the same as the former president's last name).I teach, so I come in contact with lots of names-some have been ruined for me;) How about Raven? Or Rayna? Rosalie? Reily? I'll keep thinking. That kind of work I like...what I don't like doing is the work I have to do (cleaning and school work). So, maybe I'll think of more names:D

Have a good weekend!

Jen,

Thanks for the ideas. I like Ragen or Riley for a girl. Any ideas for boys?

I finally told eveyone at work on Thursday. Everyone was much more supportive than I thought they would be. So I feel so much better now.

Have a good weekend everyone!
Imani
