Good morning everybody,

I hope that everybody is feeling good. I am getting so much better and now I am really only tired here and there, so that is wonderful. I have three more days of work left and when I will be off for 4 weeks on vacation. I am so excited!!! We are going to see my parents for 3 weeks.

Have to think which workouts I did last week, I really need to start writing those down.

Sun - Muscle Endurance (lower body only)
Mon - off
Tue - KPC first premix (43 min.)
Wed - Low Max (step only)
Thu - 20 min treadmill hill climb and abs
Fri - can't remember
Sat - off

So my workouts are picking up as well, woohoo }( ! It sure helps that DH has to get up at 4 am, so as soon as he leaves the house I start my workout.

I sure love going maternity clothes shopping, it is so nice to have new clothes, somebody stop me :p .

I noticed my butt is already getting bigger as well, is that normal so early?

Ok, that's enough of me, can't wait to hear how everybody else is doing.

hey kristine - just thought i'd tell you, my butt was the first thing too expand. still strong, but a definate bubble. now, just a few days postpartum, it is smaller again. not where i want it, but hey, smaller is better:) glad you are feeling better. 2nd trimester is a blast.

I am freaking out a bit ... I had a light spotting this morning with my bm. It was pretty pale and brown. No cramping or anything else and it seems to have stopped - but my miscarriage last oct didn't start with cramps either ... so, i'm off to the doc for an ultrasound at 4:00 ... waiting is so terrible. since she's squeezing me in, it may take quite awhile to actually see her - it may be more like 6:00, depending. if it weren't for the last time, this wouldn't be so worrisome.

As for w/os, I'm basically following cathe's rock bottoms rotation for the month, but with altered rest days:

sun - stepblast
mon - elliptical (wearing my mbt's) 45 min; coremax1
tues - gs back, biceps, shoulders
wed - Body max chest, triceps, abs; Bonus Butt WO
thurs - KickMax (no blast)
fri - rest
sat- - coremax 2, bbwo
sun - Body Max

Hope everyone's doing well - and have fun on your vacation, kristine. and although i'm 6 weeks, my belly and butt seem to be huge (i've only gained 3 lbs, but have needed to go up 2 sizes in shorts - doesn't make any sense, does it?!).

Kristine, so funny about your butt expanding early, I just can't believe how much I'm pooching out at 10 weeks. Then again, this is my 3rd, so maybe that's it. I'm still battling headaches and fatigue and seem to only be able to get in 4 workouts a week. I'm hopeful that I'll get a bit more energy in a month or so and hopefully be able to do 5 days a week. Just trying to take it day by day. Here's what I did last week:

Monday – Walk (30 min)
Tuesday – Perfect Pregnancy Workout – Toning (40 min)
Wednesday – Rest Day
Thursday – Cathe F. Basic Step (30 min)
Friday – Rest Day
Saturday – Rest Day
Sunday – Elliptical (20 min)+ Arms Toning (10 min)

I sure hope you have a good doctor's visit and all is well. I did have very light spotting with my bm's with my second pregnancy, and never had any problems. It's possible it's a result of the bm's (sounds gross, but not uncommon).

In any case, my prayers are with you.

Stacey - I had weeks there I only got 2 or 3 workouts in, but I listened to my body and didn't stress out about it. Don't worry your energy will return, mine is coming back and it feels great :7 .

This is my first one, so everything expanding is kinda a new feeling to me ;) .
 
:) :) :) Well - I had my ultrasound and everything looks good! I do have some brown fluid up by my cervix, and a whopper of a corpus luteum cyst (which is why I apparently have fabulous progesterone levels) ... but I am perfectly normal for 6 weeks and 2 days ... whew!!!

No baby for me yet!! Although - he's sitting so low that I feel like he could almost pop out. Since he's so low I've been having a lot of pressure in my pelvis, making any impact uncomfortable.

My workouts last week...all modified ultra-low impact:
Sun: Prenatal Yoga
Mon: 30 min walk, Leslie 3-mile walk
Tues: Body Fusion
Wed: 30 min walk, Kathy Smith Foundations
Thurs: Basic Step, Upper-Body add-on
Fri: Prenatal Yoga, Leslie 2-mile walk
Sat: 60 min walk

I've been doing a lot of walking in addition to my "official" workouts to help things along. I have until two weeks after my due date before the doctor will want to induce, so no worries right now.

Everyone is doing wonderfully.
My workouts have been scarce. But it's okay, I don't sit still all day and I'm keeping in shape so I'm okay. I'll keep it up but not like I was. I'm psyched to get back to it right after when I don't get tons of tightening and discomfort. She's soooooo low. Went to the doc yesterday Dialated 1 and 50% effaced. I've got a feeling when July hits it's anyday;-) I can't wait. Her room is sooooooooo darn cute!

hey cuurly, do you think you will go next week? or sooner??? so exciting! i bet your delivery is a snap since she is so low. finn is doing amazingly well. he eats like a champion, so my engorgement is fine. and he is so cute, i don't mind getting up with him at all. i am sort of tired by the end of the day, but time has new meaning for me. did you get the pictures i sent?
 
Hi ladies,

I am hoping to join in here as a first timer. I am 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant.

I have started to feel the effects of morning sickness. I keep trying to force feed myself ginger snaps. I have not slept well in weeks and I had to stay home from work yesterday just to nap. May have to do the same today since I have been awake now since 2:30. Is there anything safe I can take for sleeplessness?

I had my first ultrasound yesterday and everything looks good. Got a picture of our little peanut.

My workouts have not been great:

Tues-45 min. walk on treadmill
Wed-pyramid upper
Thur-45 min on elliptical
Fri-Pyramid lower

Welcome to the forum!!!!

Just take it easy and get rest whenever you need it. Don't worry to much about your workouts. I had several weeks in the beginning there I only worked out 2 or 3 times a week, but I didn't feel bad about it, it's for a good cause :7 . I am almost in my 2nd trimester now and I am getting back my energy and it's great!

This is my first too, but a lot of ladies here have more than one and they are always great in answering questions, if you have any.

Hi Everyone!

I started posting a while back and then stopped because I became a big slug....
But, I am happy to report that my motivation is back and I joined a gym last night. I was having a hard time motivating myself at home to do videos because it was way too easy to lay on the couch :)

But, I am happy to be back, and the rest of this pregnancy will be filled with wonderful workouts! I am now in my 16th week and feeling fab!

I am so happy that all of you are doing well. I look forward to "talking" with all of you!!!
