Here's my week in review!

Sun: Gazelle-45 mins
Mon: Basic Step/Upper Body Add On
Tue: Power Max chptrs 1,2,5 only/Gazelle-20 mins
Wed: Basic Step
Thu: Rest
Fri: Ctx: Kickbox-cardio only/ Power Max chptrs 1,2,5 only
Sat: Gazelle-30 mins/Basic Step's Lower Body Add on

Hope everyone's week went well! Was just at the doc's tonight for a quick weight, measure and heart beat. All is well! :D

Gee Wendymin72, your post looks so lonely sitting here all by itself, I thought I'd take this opportunity to say that I hope to join this weekly check-in next week, after I've finished my first official week exercising like a pregnant woman. Your week looked great, btw, but I think I already told you that. I think I'll be getting some good use out of my BS/BF dvd in the near future, as you are.

We are at 8 1/2 weeks and I just saw the heartbeat! WOW! That makes it soooo real! Hope you are feeling well!

Hi Wendy and Sandra,

I had a good workout week last week considering that I took the previous 3 weeks off. I wanted to start back on videos with short workouts so I did mostly 15 - 30 min. Here's what I did:

Sunday: Return from Winter vacation so no workout
Monday: Quick Fix Prenatal (all workouts)
Tuesday: Rest
Wednesday: QF Postnatal (upper and lower body parts only)
Thursday: Donna Richardson 3 day rotation Cardio Dance section
Friday: I want those arms program 1 with modifications
Saturday: 15 min workouts for dummies (Thighs)

I'm feeling really good and the baby is starting to move more often during the day. I am enjoying her movements since it is a constant reminder that everything is ok. I am having some trouble sleeping since stomach and back positions are out. My shoulders start hurting and I have to do a lot of flipping over. We added a foam topper and that seems to be helping a little.

I hope everything is going well with everyone else.

Jen,

I remember hearing my baby's heart beat for the very first time. It was amazing...and then when I went for my 20 week sonogram and SAW that little heart beating away, that was even MORE amazing!!!

It only gets better, Jen! You have tons of great things to look forward to..enjoy every minute! = )

Actually, I DID see the heart beat!!! It looked like just a heart. The body is 12mm long! HAHA (That tiny thing is making me so sick!) My husband and I went in thinking..."Wonder if all the pregnancy tests were wrong and we are actually not pregnant!?!?" Then, seeing that heartbeat...it is truly amazing!

Hi Everyone! I don't know if you read my post to Shelia lastweek, but I was in pain. My inner thighs and groin area were very painful-it felt bruised, but there were no bruises. I went to the dr. last Friday, and she said that it was from round ligament syndrome. There are round ligaments that support the uterus, and when the uterus grows, pressure is placed on these ligaments, and what I was feeling was due to that. She said it will just be uncomfortable for me, and that it is normal and would have no effect on the baby. Luckily, by Saturday, it was gone. I only feel slight discomfort in my inner thighs, but none of that pressure in my groin area-thank goodness!

So, due to that, I did not exercise at all last week, nor did I have any desire to do that. I told my husband that I was glad we had registered the week before cause there was no way I could walk around a store.

Everyone had such good workout weeks. On Sunday, I took a 45 min. walk and tonight, I did the first two parts on the Fit Mama DVD. I am just taking it slow. Oh, my DH and I had the first childbirth class lastnight. It was a little boring, but it was good to talk with other couples who are going through the same things.

Hi everyone!

I'm going through a bad cold that's left me with laryngitis. I feel sorry for the baby, who has to bounce around everytime I cough. Otherwise, the pregnancy is going very well.

Here's my workout week last week:

Mon. Cathe CTX Upper Strength
Tues. Cathe KPC 40 min.
Wed. Cathe L&G
Thurs. Cathe PUB
Fri. Cathe Step Blast 30 min.

I didn't workout much last week. I've been so busy at work that I just collapsed as soon as I got home at night.

Hey Jennifer! Are you doing Cathe's Jan/05 rotation, slightly modified? If so, I am beyond impressed!! What did you do for IMAX and BC this week? And for MIC? Or do I have to wait until next week's checkin to find out?

i decided not to do anything until my doc's appt. on the 25th. i had been spotting and just want to take it easy until i speak with her and am assured that everything is alright...however i am just dying to excerise.

To modify I just didn't do IMAX or BC! :p (Cheating!)

I wanted to do some of Cathe's rotation though. I basically use one riser, don't jump, and limit my turning if it's a movement that's just too quick for my body. I really miss doing the workouts intensely- I miss the high!!! But I don't like the idea of not doing any Cathe cardio for 4 or 5 months- I gotta do some of her cardio- however I can!
