Happy Sunday Morning everyone,

Can you beleive that Christmas is so close? And we don't have our little ones yet?x( Patience is not something I was blessed with and Im sure I will need it when raising this little one! LOL

Well, I thought for sure I was in labour last night. I started getting some pains just before we went to bed, so I thought, why not increase my chances and convince DH to have sex with me! hahaha! It worked and we did.(TMI?) After that I started timing my pains and they were about 5 mins apart and lasting about 20-30 sec. I eventually stopped counting and thought it would be best to fall asleep, just incase this was the real deal I was gonna need some rest. But nothing! Im still here and today Im not having any pain at all. Maybe the babies head is further is my pelvis now or maybe I even dliated a little last night? Who knows? I have a Dr's apt on Wed and I think he will do a internal to see whats going on, hopefully I made some progress.

Anyway, I am doing house work today and I am hoping to get out for a little walk. I need to start moving again, I feel like such a bum!

Hope everyone as a good day!
Lori:)

Good morning mommies,

Lori - I was feeling kinda funny on Saturday too, not necessary labor, but I had a lot of aches and pains. I can't wait either to meet my little one, but I guess it's not on us to decide when they come :).

I had my Dr.'s appointment on Thursday, but I didn't make much progress :-( maybe I dilated 1/2 cm more, but that's it. I guess my little baby girl just likes it too much in there, hehe.

Here are my workouts from last week:

Sun - 40 min treadmill walk
Mon - off
Tue - off
Wed - 30 min treadmill walk
Thu - off
Fri - 30 min treadmill walk
Sat - LIC (cardio premix w/o blasts)
I am hoping the more I walk the sooner I'll get her out ;) .

I am still feeling good, except for Saturday, I still sleep good, but I am so ready for her to be here. I have to work 5 days this week and it would be nice if she'll come early, so I don't have to ;) .

I hope that everyone is doing good
Have a great week
Kristine :)

Kristine, your making more progress then I am. Last time I went to the Dr my cervix was softened, thats it. I am hoping that Sat nights pains were some sort of progress. I have an apt on Wed so maybe I will find out then.

I just got back from a walk and now I feel lazy. I am hoping the weather will be o.k most of this week so I can go for a walk each morning. I felt alot of pressure when I was walking but now that I am home its stopped.
Lori:)

Hi Mommies!
Lori and Kristine, oh my gosh, you are both soooo close!! I had both of my kids at about 38 weeks, so I'm sending some labor vibes your way:)

Last week was really rough for me, having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions and just feeling totally exhausted. I only managed to get two workouts in last week but realize that I really need to be just taking it day by day and seeing how I feel as far as working out. I'm trying to not be hard on myself at all. I hope to get 3-4 light workouts in this week, but again, will just take it day by day.
I'm 35 weeks now, and have a doctor's appointment this Thursday. We got the nursery all painted this weekend and will set up the crib and organize things this coming weekend. I'm definitely feeling like everything is coming together for the baby's arrival.

Well, I hope everyone has a great week, Lori and Kristine, so excited to hear how things go for you this week!

Here's my workouts from last week:

Monday – Rest Day
Tuesday – Rest Day
Wednesday – Rest Day
Thursday – L. Hart FitMama(Cardio/Labor Prep/Prenatal Stretch-35min)
Friday – Rest Day
Saturday – Rest Day
Sunday – D. Austin Fit & Firm Pregnancy (Cardio-20min) & L. Hart (Labor Prep/Prenatal Stretch-15min)

Hello Mommies :)

Still no baby yet for me either....the anticipation can really get to me sometimes. Lori & Krisitne - We're all so close that I know you know what I mean :).

Well, I have had a few more pains...definitely some braxton hicks, but also some pain when the baby moves a certain way. Sometimes I get a little worried, but I'm thankful that she is still moving. I'll mention it to my Dr. on Wednesday, but it takes a lot to raise an alarm with her!

Anyhow, my last day of work was Friday :D. I'm such a workaholic and not used to having alot of free time on my hands that now I can't find anything to do with myself..LOL. I guess I'll try to get out a bit, maybe walk the malls or something just to not be sitting around the house.

I'll check in after my Wednesday appt. if there's any news :)

Trish

Hi Girls,

No baby here either. I know we are getting close but is it ever close enough? Im so tired of being pregnant. I had a Dr's apt yesterday but he didn't want to check me. I thought for sure he would find something b/c I have been having alot of discomfort this week but I guess I won't find anything out until next week unless i go before.
To tell you the truth, if the baby doesn't come today or tomorrow, then I would rather it wait until the new year. My sister comes home on the 27th so I would like to wait until she gets here. She is a nurse and has delivered alot of babies so it would be nice to have her in the delivery room.
Other then being bored out of my mind, nothing new here. Just trying to fill up my week and then the weekend will be here and then there will be lots to do....plus sleep in!
Lori:)

Hi!
Hang in there everyone! I know exactly what you mean, it is such a waiting game at the end of the pregnancy. I'm approaching my 36th week and have a doctor's appointment later this morning. The doctor is going to check me and I'm not anticipating there has been any progress this early, but you never know. I have been having a lot of braxton hicks contractions, but I also had those for a long time before having my daughter a few years ago.

Anyway, looking forward to this weekend and Christmas which will help the time go by faster. Not long now for all of us.

I wish you the best this weekend and again, sending labor vibes your way:)

Happy Holidays everyone!

Hi Ladies,

Well, I had my Dr. appt yesterday and, of course, there was no change whatsoever. The baby hasn't even "dropped" and moved into the pelvis yet. So, we decided that if there is no change on my next visit on the 27th that we'll schedule an induction for jan 3rd. Apparently you don't have to be far past your due date for second pregnancies to schedule an induction. I really hope to avoid it, but I also would feel better having her on the outside where I can see that she is allright...that's the worry-wart side of mex( .

Enjoy the rest of your week!

Trish

Hi mommies,

I am so ready and yes, you are all right that the last couple of weeks just seem to last forever, so I am sure glad that it is Christmas!!! :)

Stacey - Thank you for the labor vibes, please keep them coming ;-) .

I have my next Dr.'s appointment tomorrow and I sure hope that I made some more progress. It would be so nice if she gets here some time this year.

Arghhh, I can't wait!!!!

Kristine :)

So I am not the only one who is twiddling their thumbs? LOL

Trish, at my doctors apt yesterday he said that they baby wasn't fully dropped into my pelvis yet. I think it was getting close but he said he could still wiggle the head. He said with second babies you usually drop and go into labor all at the same time. My doc also told me that Jan 3rd would be my day if I don't go before.
Huh...its just so long waiting for this baby. There are so many things that I can't do, and I wish I could to make the day go by faster.
I guess whinning about it won't make the baby come any quicker.
Lori:)

Hi all:)

We are all in the same boat....just waiting.
I had my doctor's appointment this morning and have just started to progress. I'm 60% effaced and dilated 1cm. The doctor thinks there is a very good chance I will have this baby at 38 weeks like I did my other two, so that is great news. Of course, she couldn't guarantee it, but thinks it is very likely.

Everyone enjoy your Christmas, be sure to watch some movies, do some reading, or whatever you like to do to relax before your baby comes. We'll all be super busy soon enough:)

Blessings to all.

That's great news Stacey!! Things seem to be moving pretty fast for you :) If my daughter's delivery is any indicator, then this baby should arrive around 12/26.

Lori - wouldn't it be funny if we're induced on the same day?? Oh well, let's see how it goes.

Happy Holidays everyone.

Trish

Hi ladies,

Had another Dr.'s appointment today and I am 80% effaced now and almost dilated to a 2, yeah!!! :)

I also think that I am loosing my mucus plug, so I really hope that I will go into labor soon.

Stacey - I think your labor vibes are really helping, keep them coming.

I also send labor vibes to Lori and Trish!!!

Kristine :)

Thanks for the vibes but its taking them along time to get here! LOL

Thats great news about your Dr's apt. My Dr wouldn't check me last week so if I go next week and nothing as changed I may just sock it to him. Then I may end up having my baby in jail....so maybe I should just grin and bare it.
To tell you the truth, I hope the baby stays in there until the 28th now. My sister comes home on the 27th and I would like for her to be here. And I certainly don't want to be in hospital christmas day so the baby better stay put now.

Im not feeling so well today. I feel kind of sick. I had heart burn last night and got out of bed at 3 ish to take some rolaids, maybe its something I ate yesterday.

Anyway, I guess everyone is ready for Santa.Time is running out.
Lori:)

Lori - Sorry you don't feel well. I was feeling awful on Thursday, nauseated all day long, it was bad. I thought too that I ate something bad, but my Dr. said yesterday, it's because the baby is pushing on the uterus. Hang in there, it'll get better.

Hi everyone. Congratulations to all the moms-to-be here. I just found out I am expecting my second child. I haven't seen my doctor yet, but will on Tuesday. I think I am only about 3-4 weeks along. And I am already having nausea and feeling not quite right. I don't remember it starting so soon the last time. My first suspicion that I was pregnant came last week, when I was unable to do some of the cardio I like best without getting really winded (i.e. KPC). And then this week, I felt real nauseous when I woke up for my 5:30 am Cathe workout. So, I went out and got a pregnancy test, and lo and behold- surprise! We weren't trying, so this was unexpected. But we are happy. My four year old boy is very curious about it, though I haven't told him much. He tells me he wants both a little sister and a little brother. I told him to hold his horses! Lol. Anyway, I am glad we have this forum. I will be checking in regularly. :)

Hey There,
Well, you are just getting started and I am almost finished! (Thank Goodness!) LOL
We were trying to get pregnant for almost 4 yrs so when it finally happened we were quit shocked. I didn't think I was pregnant but I had went for a run two days in a row and on my way around my normal route, I would have to stop and take a break and that was really weird for me. The first day was no big deal b/c everyone as their off days but when it happened the second day I was so mad! I couldn't figure out why I needed to walk! LOL But I soon found out why. Im curious to see how hard it will be to get back into it. Maybe I am being silly but I think after a few weeks my intensity level should be make up there. I may not be able to run as far for a while but hopefully it won't take to long.
Good luck with your pregnancy and I hope you feel better soon. I know I hated the first few weeks b/c I was really tired and sick.
Lori
:)

Thanks, Lori. Best of luck with your final weeks. And an early "congratulations" to you and your hubby. I know you will be very happy with your bundle of joy. :)
