Moms to be check in 10/08/06

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

-Indybulla- my first was a little girl. You can see her in my avatar pic. She just turned 2 in August.

And I second the energy thing. Wow, did it hit me hard. I have no motivation at all to workout. I just want to sleep! LOL :) I have been getting in walks, but not my workouts. I know I will get back to them when this phase passes.

Hi ladies. I have been super busy...we are getting ready to move next week. No boxes packed yet, but before we go my hubby and I have picked up lots of shifts at work. I hate work right now! I don't know how you full timers do it! We are both bartenders/servers, so I don't work more than 6 hrs at a time. It's demanding work though, and I look forward to being done. My nausea is getting better!!!!! YEAH!!! Hopefully it stays that way. I have my 1rst doc appt tomarrow.

Last week I did:

Sun: off
Mon: 3mi run
Tue: P90X chest, shol, tri
Wed: Cardio X, abs
Thur:back & biceps
Fri: off
Sat: GS Legs (standing only)

Lookin better...I hate weights right now! I feel sooo weak, and the recovery takes an extra day or two.

Oh, and congrats Robin. I am on #2 as well. You will feel better soon. I still want to sleep all the time. LOL. I have been sleeping the same hours as my 14 month old.
 
Thanks for the warm welcome last week everybody. I think I'm finally getting over this cold. I still have the sniffles and I'm tired, but nothing like I was last week. I even got in a 40 minute walk after work yesterday and followed it with some light lower body. It felt really good. I'm going to try for another walk tonight and some upper body strength. I think if I continue to keep the cardio segment shorter and break the strength up into alternating upper and lower body short segments, I'll be more likely to get in some form of workout instead of blowing it all off. Plus, if I make a really big dinner on days when I don't work out DH can just reheat leftovers for us and maybe add a salad and it's one less thing to get in the way of my getting in a workout. DH not so great with meals from scratch but great with reheating leftovers - I'll take the help any way I can get it at this point.
