Gosh, last week is soooo last week ago!!! What the heck did I do?

Wendymin - your last week looks really, really good!! I didn't know you also added the Power Circuit lo-impact onto 10-10-10; good idea!!

My goal last week, being so early in the pregnancy, was just to keep my exertion levels comfortable and prevent working too hard to do the talk test.

Mon: Step Works/Body Max step combo, 69 mins, 6-inch step; SH Chest.

Tues: Cardio & Weights, 6-inch step; SH Back.

Weds: KPC, modifying any moves that bothered my pelvic floor muscles, and only "giving it" about 60-80%. Fantastic workout for this stage; SH Legs (going a 5-10lbs lighter in places).

Thurs: Step & Intervals, 6-inch step; SH Triceps.

Fri: Mega Step Blast, 8-inch step; SH Biceps & abs.

Sat: Circuit Max, 6-inch step, modifying the hi/lo for my PFmuscles, keeping my exertion level at 60-80%. SH Shoulders.

Sun: YogaZone Toning and Flexibility video

Have a good week, everyone!

Hi everyone!

As of today I begin my third trimester. Whoohoo! However, my cardio is really modified now; when I tried Step Fit Saturday, whether on a 4-inch step or just on the floor, the music tempo was just too fast for my ackward body. Farewell to those workouts! Sigh... I'll miss those workouts;( .

Sun. Karen Voight- Sleek Physique (Monday workout)
Tues. Cathe Basic Step
Wed. Cathe BS/BF Upper and Lower Strength Add-Ons
Fri. Cathe CTX Upper
Sat Cathe Step Fit

Hi Mommies to be:) I am happy to say that my ligament pain is almost all gone. I was able to walk and start working out again. Here are my workouts:

Sun: walk-30 min
Mon: Leisa Hart-Fit Mama (1st two segments)
Wed: off
Thurs: walk around track-30 min.
Fri: off
Sat: work around house-cleaning (does that count)
Sun: 30 min KPC-kick combos

I didn't want to overdo it, but I am feeling a lot better. My DH and I just got back from our 2nd childbirth class. They are a little boring, but some of my ?'s were answered, and it is nice to talk with other couples who are going through a lot of the same things.

Take care, and enjoy the week.

Wow! You guys are amazing!!! I am so impressed!!!

I saw my MD yesterday and the baby is doing well. My cervix still hasn't effaced any more so she said that I could keep doing what I'm doing... She feels like I'll make it past 32 weeks! Yippee!!!

Last week I did all 3 segments of the QuickFix prenatal DVD plus a couple of walks with the kids (on their bikes).

I'm thinking of getting the Body Fusion DVD for my post-natal routine. I know that in the beginning, I'll be doing lots of walking and stretching but I feel like some Cathe for motivation would be nice! Does anyone have this DVD? Is it Cathe-lite?

Hope everyone has a great week!

Yup, and yup! Basic Step & Body Fusion are slower paced, very simple choreography, and completely non-impact. There might be a small bit of impact in the Body Fusion workout, but not a problem to leave out if you want. They couldn't be more ideal for the post-partum stage, IMO.

Glad to hear you are doing well.

Hi Michele!

I've been using the DVD during my pregnancy, and I find the pace of the music perfect and the workout easy to modify when needed. I'll definitely use it post-partum too!

Hi everyone!

I had an ok week last week. I have a conference comming up next week so the last couple of week have been busy getting ready. I workouts 3 times. I can't remember which days I did the workouts but I did
1) firm Express cardio (no box)
2) firm Express total body sculpting
3) Cathe body fusion (weights only)

My mom came to visit last weekend and we had fun shopping for baby goodies! I ordered a glider and ottoman and got the stroller and car seat too! It was so much fun!

Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Keep up the good work!

Would you ladies mind if I joined you? Hi again Wendy & Sandra! Do you check in daily, once a week, or whenever?

I'm trying to stay on track with my eating and exercising this time with my second pregnancy, but we will have to see how that goes.

Here is what my workouts have consisted of so far.

Saturday - 3 mile jog with baby and dog. It was so beautiful and warm but this coming weekend we could have a considerable snow fall.
Sunday - off
Monday - Total Body Quick Fix - 3 10 minute sections from each: Arms, Legs, & Abs.
Tuesday - Reebok Aerostep. I rediscovered this one after about 2 years since my body was too fatigued for Cathe.
Wednesday - my own total body workout - 2 sets of 12 reps with mod-heavy weight for upper body & 2 sets of 25 reps with mod-heavy weight for lower body.

Maybe it is working out at 9 p.m every night after putting DS to bed but lately I have been too tired to do Cathe. (I guess it is the pregnancy.) I hope this is not a trend! :) It seems like 30 minutes is all I can do at the moment before my body feels too tired to even move. It used to be that exercising energized me. I guess I might have to resort to walking on my treadmill and maybe buying Cathe's beginner DVD. At least I could use the DVD postpartum.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Kristi
