Good morning ladies!

Wow, I am starting this thread??? Where is everybody? I hope everyone is doing ok.

I had a pretty good week, I was really tired on Thursday and Friday, but other than that, I think I am starting to feel better.

Not sure about my workouts, I need to start writing them down or I can't remember. I know I did GS upper body on two different days and both times the timesavers and I think I went on the treadmill once or twice.

I had my second Dr.'s appoinment on Friday. Just to see how I am doing, if I have any problems and ... we got to hear the heartbeat :7 . Wow, that was amazing! 174 beats per minute. My Dr. said that's the heartbeat of a girl  . My DH already has two girls, so we are hoping for a boy ;-). Oh well, as long as the baby is healthy, that's all what counts, right!

Heather - I hope that you had your baby by now. Let us know!

All 1st trimesters - I hope you start feeling better, I sure do and it is a wonderful feeling, not be nauseous 24/7.

All 3rd trimesters - you are almost there and get to see your little bundle of joy soon!

I hope that everybody has a great week
Kristine :)

Hmmm...maybe nobody is posting because everyone went into labor over the weekend?

Kristine - hearing the heartbeat was when my pregnancy felt "real" for the first time. It's the first of many very exciting milestones!!

I'm at the point in the pregnancy where I have to start every phone call with "no baby yet". Otherwise, people assume you're calling to tell them you're at the hospital. My doctor says everything is still A-OK, so I'm just waiting...

Workouts were OK this week. I still can't eat very much and I think that affects my energy a bit...

Sun: Prenatal Yoga
Mon: 30 min walk, Firm Vol. 6
Tues: Kathy Smith Power Push
Wed: 30 min walk, Firm BSS3 Cardio and Weights
Thurs: Leslie WATP 3-mile walk
Fri: 30 min walk, Low Impact Step
Sat: Basic Step

(Due June 23)...

hi everyone. no baby yet as well. linda, do you get phone calls too where people are just asking if it is here?

hope everyone feels well. i too cannot eat much at all and i miss it! feels weird to be losing weight with the baby growing, but i am just hoping he is getting what he needs. my energy is very low at times b/c sleep is a distant memory. what is it about 3:30 am?! but, i am still exercising although limiting the impact and duration. somedays it is the only time i feel good! work is also starting to get hard. had to leave early friday b/c of a terrible headache. not like me at all. but, we are getting closer and closer i hope. linda, we are sharing a due date.

heather, my fondest hope is you are now postpartum. please keep us updated.

sun - walk 45 min, musc endur
mon - low max
tues - sjp step only, legs and glutes
weds - step blast no blast
thurs - walk 50 min, musc endurance
fri - cardio and weights step only, legs and glutes
sat - low max

due june 23

Hi gals!!!
Linda, I know what you mean, with dh#1 I didn't want to answer the phone because it drove me nuts how ready I was and everyone would call asking, don't they think they'd receive a phone call!!!;-)

Morris, feel good! Almost:D

I've been very tired lately, her movements are sooooooooo defined. I feel every lil thing. You can see all these waves and ripples going on in my belly. It's so cool. Had a really fun shower this weekend and received some adorable things. So fun!

Let's see, Mon.-Fri. I did Basic step, that's what feels real good right now. And it's so funny how it makes me sweat like crazy and feels like such a challenge at this point. So that's good;-) I'll just keep on truckin til the end. Spending lots of time in the pools.

Everybody feel good and happy eating!!:9

Here is my week.

Mon - 30 minutes LowMax All Blasts
Tues - 35 minutes Back, Shoulder, Biceps
Friday - 40 minutes Mindy Mylrea Pump Party

Had a doctor's appt on Friday. I am 1 centimeter. I calculate my due date to be June 25th but the doctor says June 22nd based on one of my early ultrasounds. She will not let me go past this date because I am over 35 so I am scheduled for induction on June 20th at 5am!

I hope she comes before then but if not at least I have an ending date!

We are finally all ready. Everything on my list is checked off.

Haven't been working out much with not getting enough sleep. I also have been focusing all my energy on getting my list done.

I am working from home this week and begin my maternity leave next Monday. This certainly helps.

Good Luck to everyone else due around this time.

Rachel

Hello everybody,

I hope you all had a great weekend (great being a relative term ;).

I just finished up the first week of the Rock Bottoms rotation. Working out is the only time I actually feel good! Starting is tough, and after I take a shower I'm useless, but it's fun while I'm doing it. DH doesn't quite get that being exhausted doesn't necessarily mean being sleepy - but he's such a wonderful support I can't complain.

I can't wait to have my first ultrasound. I actually have no idea when it will be - I just went in for my second blood test to check my hcg and prog levels ... so it may hinge on that. If there are no problems with my levels, does anyone know how long they continue to check them? This is all due to my m/c last Oct.

So far, no nausea - just headaches and porn star nipples. Oh yeah - and I'm puffing up everywhere (water).

Good luck to the third trimesters - here's to a speedy and safe delivery :)

Hi Everyone!
I'm pretty new to the forum and to Cathe. I am 8 weeks along with my 3rd (also have a 4 1/2 yr old boy and a 3yr old girl). Today was my first doctor's appointment, and I also happened to wake up with TERRIBLE morning sickness. Luckily, it subsided a bit before I saw the doctor. Yuck, don't like feel like crap. I'm also suffering from bad headaches, and wonder if part of it is due to giving up caffeine? I stopped drinking coffee about a week ago. Well, have been pretty tired, but did manage to get 4 workouts in last week, am hoping to be able to get 5 in this week. Here's what I did:

Week 2 (June 5-June 11):
Monday – Rest Day
Tuesday – Fat Burning Pilates (Cardio only – 30 min) + 10 min arms toning
Wednesday – Elliptical (30 min)
Thursday- Prenatal Pilates (40 min)
Friday- Cathe F. Basic Step (30 min)
Saturday- Rest Day
Sunday – Rest Day

I get to hear the baby's heartbeat in two weeks and can't wait! Just want to say congratulations to all of you with your various stages of pregnancy, and I'm so happy I found this forum, very inspiring. Everybody hang in there;-)

Stacey

Porn Star nipples, totally, that is soooooooooo funny!!! And boobs too ya know!

Had my doc appt this morning. She's head down, yeah!!! Will be interesting to see if I started dialating at my next appt. in 2 weeks. I swear I'm about to go into labor sometimes, LOL.

Hey Curly!!

Just wanted to say hi to you, Hannah and Molly!
Almost there! Is Hannah excited yet?

Keep me updated!

Jana

curly, that is so exciting! maybe you will go early. how did it happen with hannah?

rachel, if they induce you, will you have to have a c section, or are they thinking you can still deliver vaginally. i am envious of an "end date." i know it will happen when it is supposed to, but, i am the sort of person who loves to read the last few pages of a book before i am finished. still love reading the rest, but i like to know the end.

had a better night's sleep last night and it is making all the difference today. the sun is out, so life is good.

There has been no mention of a C section. I think I am being induced just because I am over 35 and she will not let me go beyond my due date. I assume I will be given Pitocin(not sure how to spell) when I get to the hospital. I have an appt on Friday and I will ask lots of questions then.

My last delivery was very easy so I can only hope this one will go as smoothly.

My first was 9 days early so maybe this one will be early as well and she will come before Tues. I blame the last one on the CPA exam though. I took the exam for 8 hours on Weds and 8 hours on Thurs and on Friday my water broke and she came 12 hours later. I wouldn't wish that exam on anyone though. I would actually like to be pregnant longer than have to take it again! Luckily I passed at the time and will never have to take it again.

Rachel

i cannot believe you went thru that sort of intense study while you were pregnant, let alone took the exam just before delivering! that is fantastic. hopefully this labor and end of pregnancy will be even easier for you. how old is you first?

Rachel - wow you are close!! Just think, in one week you will be meeting your newest family member!! My doctor says she won't think about induction until I'm 2 weeks over (I'm 29)...but I feel "ready to go" any time!!

Morris - I do get the "just in case" phone calls. As if I would forget to tell people I had my baby. I laughed when I saw that you also read the end of a book before you actually get there...I do the same thing and DH thinks I'm crazy - but I need to know what the goal is!

Good news - it feels like the baby's dropping a little bit. Last night I had an (almost) normal sized meal!!

Morris,

My first is 6 1/2. She will certainly be a good helper! I am glad I am having the baby in the summer so my first will be home from school. She starts 1st grade in the fall.
