Aww, how sweet. I wonder if dd will recall how I had her read Carlo Collodi's unabridged translated version of Pinocchio with me when she was at the tender age of 7. Somehow, I don't think it will be fondly since she shockingly enjoyed the movie more than the book. Heartbreaking, I know. LOL
 
We have the Bob Books too. My girls liked the Nora Gaydos books better since they are in color and come with whacky stickers.

Now, I'm not saying she REMEMBERS it, she's just heard me tell her about it. She especially likes it now that she's older and we discuss books with each other. No, I'm not her mom, but I sure am proud of her!
