Happy New Year! We stayed in for New Years. The roads are finally melted here. Ms. Alexis is talking more and more, "up" is her new favorite. She has taken a few steps but seems scared and walks around with her walker(and her purse). I sent pics out to anyone whose email address I had. If you want to see them and didn't get them, let me know. I seem to have gained 2 pounds over christmas. Emy,hope you are feeling good. Melanie, is Justin sleeping better. Hi to everyone else as well, Maggie,Briee, we miss you.

I wonder if Alexis didn't start walking until recently because she is so small... Anyway, Max is doing well. I am feeling my morning sickness gradually improve. People keep commenting that it must be a girl when I say that it is so much worse this time than with Max. I secretly hope it is another boy. But, deep down I don't think it will be. (With Max I knew I was going to have a boy as soon as I found out I was pregnant).

Emy, my sis in law had no morning sickness with her girl and lots with her boy. So, there is no telling. I am suprised you want another boy. I would get pregnant again if I knew I'd have another girl, I am partial to girls. I was sure Alexis was a boy because I wanted a girl so much. Also chinese calander said boy and I was carrying mostly belly which many say is boy.

I actually really wanted a girl when I was pregnant the first time. I admit I was a little disappointed when I first found out I was having a boy. Now that I really think about it, I would rather have little versions of my husband running around than little versions of me (of course this can happen with either sex), but I will love whoever my little baby is when it arrives, that is for sure!

Last time the chinese calendar was right for me. This time it depends on day of conception. Right in the middle of my cycle I had a birthday, so I don't know if I conceived before or after my birthday. It is split between girl and boy depending on my age. Anyway, I found that chart to be fun last time, especially because it was right for me. This time it doesn't help!

My DH and I are partial to girls too! When I was pregnant with Sydney, everyone would say "I guess Matthew wants a boy". Why? I would ask. When I was pregnant with Jordan, everyone... and I mean everyone... kept telling us we wanted a boy. Of course, after the difficulty in TTC we just wanted a healthy baby... no one believed us... and if we said we had always wanted two girls some would argue with us. Funny. Anyway, I was disappointed I was having a boy... I am soooo ashamed to admit that... even more ashamed of how I acted. But, as always, God knew what was best. I love Jordan so much I cry sometimes when I look at him, he is exactly what we wanted but just didn't know it.

Emy, I know what you mean about mini versions... I wish our children were both like Matthew. He is one of the best people I have ever met. Well, Sydney favors me physically and with her personality. My DH laughs when we "butt heads".... and do we butt heads... she is only 4... it should be a blast when she hits her teens. Jordan is a little Matthew so far.

Emy, Alexis loved the pictures of Max. he is a real cutie, but I told her no dating til she is 18. Don't kids look the cutest in just their diapers. Alexis lools like her dad, although has my eye color and petiteness. She seems to have my outgoingness.
