Where are all of you? we had a nice christmas with hubby's family. We came back Sunday in time to beat the snow. We ended up with 16 inches of snow sunday/Monday. I'll make this quick as someone is cranky, I think its nap time. I did a firm week last week, now to remember my workouts:

Sunday-Tae bo extreme+winsor abs
Monday-express cardio+express hips,thighs
Tues-Superbodysculpt upper+bodysculpt upper
Wed-total body shaping mix
Thurs-core cardio 1 and about half of super cardio
Friday-firm vol. 2-low impact aerobics
sat-Firm strength

Alexis felt better in time for Christmas and did great at grammy's for christmas. She is now super energetic and loving the fact that we are staying in waiting for the roads to clear.

Hi Elyse. I"m glad you had a great Xmas. Yes, are buddies must be busy with the holidays. I have to admit, it's difficult to remember what videos I did last week. Imax1, Slammin Sports Cardio, Circuit Max, some ab work, I think a timesaver. Urgh! I just can't remember.

I ordered Tae Bo Extreme DVD for myself for Christmas. I'm so excited to get it. I noticed you did that video this week. Do you like it? Is it intense? BTW, how's little Alexis'rash. All gone? THANK YOU for the nice pictures. What a doll she is.

I'm letting Justin cry himself to sleep tonight. Almost 45 minutes. I think he's almost out. Thank God!!! I figure if I can hang in there for 3 days he should be broken of this up 3-5 times a night!!! I"m getting so burnt out!!!!

:D

Any gift ideas for Justin's upcoming ONE year birthday? I can't believe I even typed that. What happened to my itsy bitsy baby?

Hi Melanie,
We were lucky, her rash stayed faint and her fever ended quickly. She also now has 2 front teeth which I think was her main reason for fussiness. She is now back to sleeping through the night and has been full of cheer especially since we have been snowed in. The roads remain awful. Happy early first birthday to Justin. Alexis' favorite toys are her play drum, her leapfrog schoolbus, her leapfrog activity table and her kitchen set. She is also still loving all her megablocks and any toy that makes music. I just got tae bo extreme in a trade. I did like it but didn't find it more intense than the live adv. ones.

I'm glad last week is over! We were all sick at various times throughout the week. Christmas day was fun though, we finally felt better and Max was amazed that we were letting him get into all of those packages that he had been told for so long "Don't touch!" Max got a Radio Flyer retro rocket that he rides/pushes all over the house and a big box of Lego Duplos. For the latter, he mostly just chews on them and scatters them throughout the house, but he really enjoys them.

Mon- SJ&P
Tue- L&G
Wed- CTX Upper Body Split
Thu- sick
Fri- sick
Sat- too busy!

Patiently awaiting my new Cathe DVDS - hopefully we will hear the good news any day now!

Hi ladies!
I hope you don't mind I jump in here to give an update. I don't post regularly here post-partum. Nora had her 4-month check-up today (where does the time go?) and she is doing really well. She's napping now after getting her booster shots. She's 16lbs 15oz and 25". She's a very robust little baby girl! We were talking to the dr about how she seems just about ready to roll but hasn't quite done it yet when she did it right then and there in front of us on top of the exam table! It was such a great moment!

DH and I broke down and bought a scale. Prior to getting pregnant I always used my clothes as a weight gauge but I'm finding now that I really want to track the rest of my weight loss. As of a few days ago, I was 11 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight. (I keep forgetting to step on the scale in the morning before breakfast so it's been a couple of days since I last looked!)

I'm just about back to my pre-pregnancy fitness level (abs still need to snap back a bit more, though). A few weeks ago I started adding in the IS workouts and have done all of them with the exception of Imax2. I did do Imax Extreme off Terminator one day and it kicked my butt (but in a good way!). I still have some more training to do - mentally and physically - before I feel I can tackle the Imax workouts. I really like her advanced High Step Training DVD. I don't really do rotations but when her Hardcore series comes out, I may try to stick with that for a few weeks to really melt these last few pounds off. I go back to teaching group fitness next week so that's also motivation!

Best wishes to all you moms and moms-to-be for a very happy 2005!

Shopaholic, glad Miss Alexis is better and enjoying her new toys. Are your roads better?

Melanie, I hope Justin is sleeping through the night. It was a blessing that Jordan started sleeping through the night about 2 weeks before Matthew’s surgery. My DH is a huge help with the kids… he was great about helping me get sleep whenever possible when Jordan wasn’t sleeping through the night… I would have been one cranky lady. ;)

Oh, Melanie, I don’t work full-time outside the home. I even turned down teaching maternity clinicals this spring… this will be the first time in 5 years… I LOOOOVE maternity clinicals. :) I am going to continue the independent Med Term courses… maybe a few clinics for family planning.

Emy, I hope you and your family are feeling better. I ran across several Radio Flyer toys during my catalogue shopping. I bet Max is adorable with his rocket!

Diana, it is nice to “see you”. I hope you post more often. Glad to your foot is fully recovered. Happy to hear Nora is dong well. Isn’t amazing how excited one can get over a baby rolling over?? :) It is always bittersweet for me.

Maggie, I am happy to know I am not the only one who baked too much. Luckily, I only gained 2 pounds… I was so full of junk I had no room for nutrition. To get back on track, I am ordering fresh made meals from Seattle Sutton Healthy Eating. I am bored with my own cooking… burnt out on our local restaurants… so thought I’d give this a try. My meals will be picked up twice a week. I am so busy with the kids sometimes I end up eating the quickest, easiest food I can get my hands on… usually not the most well-balanced, nutritious choices. I hope this gets me back on track. My friend used a similar company in the DC area and had great success.

Here is my workout log for last week:
Sun: Rest
Mon: P90X CST & Cathe Ab Hits
Tue: Kenpo X
Wed: P90X BB & Ab Ripper X
Thu: Bryan Kest Yoga
Fri: Wrapped all the gifts… it took hours… does that count????
Sat: Played with my kids and their new toys… completely selfless act… isn’t it great having kids so you have an excuse to play with today’s great toys?? :)

We had a great Christmas. So far, Sydney’s favs are her exercise care bears, flower microphone, food sets, & books. Jordan thoroughly enjoyed the paper. :) A friend made his stocking… she made one for Sydney’s first Christmas… she buys kits… Jordan’s is a Santa and just gorgeous. I hope to get some pics up soon.

Wishing each of you a Happy New Year!!!!
