Hi everyone!

Here are the workouts I did this past week:

Sunday: Ran a half marathon - set a new PR!
Monday: Maximum Intensity Strength
Tuesday: Ran 10 hill repeats, 5 percent grade, then cooled down with IMax2

OK, just kidding. :+
(I couldn't do that when I wasn't pregnant!)

Here's what I really did:

Sun: Kick Punch and Cruch intermediate and high intensity drills (modified)
Mon: 1 mile walk
Tue: SJP Step and Weights premix
Wed: 1 mile walk, then planned to do Crunch Yoga Mama, then blew it off because I was so tired
Thu: 17.6 miles stationary bike - 50 minutes
Fri: Muscle Max Upper Body premix
Sat: KPC/LG premix #17: Punch/Kick combos, leg work with ankle weights. I could jump with the side kicks, but not with the front kicks.

I hope everyone had a great week, and I look forward to reading your posts.

okay adrienne

you really made me laugh just now. feels good. my husband leaves tomorrow for 2 months, so i am on an emotional rollercoaster. good old fashioned humor is good.

my workouts went okay this week. definately a rough week with fatigue, but today oddly enough i feel great!
sun - spin class at gym
mon - run 7 miles, 30 min strength
tues - run 7 mil
weds - low max, muscle endurance
thurs - run 7 mil
fri - run 7 mil, 25 min strength
sat - elliptical 60 min

i am anxious to be alone, but i am grateful i just have 1-2 more weeks in my first trimester. actually, question to you all - do you count the start of week 12 or end of week 12 for the next trimester?

my goal is to cope with anxiety and lonliness in healthy ways, not a box of cookies;)

hope everyone else is doing well.

Hi everyone,
Adrienne, loved your post.
Morris, I believe the first trimester actually ends at week 14, not week 12. The rate of miscarriage declines tremendously at week 12. Great workouts. Enjoy your alone time.
Maggie, how are you?

I am feeling pretty good these days except I live in the bathroom. Yesterday I tried doing 10-10-10 cardio, body could do it, bladder couldn't. I am up at 8.5 pounds and actually started wearing some of my more fitted old navy maternity clothes.

Workouts:
Sun-step this way 1
Mon-fitprime strong bear +low impact step bodysculpting
Tues-step this way 2
Wed-cardio and weights. Skipped abs, subbed tae bo 8 min. workout
Thurs-franny-nonstop workout-step
Fri-bodypump then chasing after and cleaning up after toddler play group
Sat-franny-all out step+about 2.5 circuits on tae bo circuit 2

Edited to add that I am now 1 day short of 15 weeks, 25 more to go.

Adrienne--ha ha:+. Wow you are getting close, but then again I guess I am too--4 weeks 6 days--but it feels like a long time. The hustle and bustle of the holiday season makes it go more quickly. Maybe you'll have a Christmas baby:7 :7.

Morris--Two months is a long time to be separated from one's husband. i would certainly have a hard time with it. Hang in there and keep us posted on how you are doing. Your workouts look fantastic. I'm so impressed.

Shopaholic--I can totally relate to the bladder thing. Sometimes I am in the bathroom peeing EVERY 10 MINUTES--I'm not kidding, because I have a clock next to my bed. It's ridiculous. My workouts are always interrupted for pee breaks because I drink so much h2o when I exercise.

My workouts for the week--

Mon-PS CST+35 min stationary bike
Tues-PS legs standing only (no abs)+ 40 min stationary bike
Wed-PS BB+25 min stationary bike
Thurs-rest
Fri-MM upper body premix+35 min stationary bike
Sat-MM lower body premix+w/u and sections 1 and 2 of step jam

Our VCR broke and so I will have to find a substitute for the PS series which I do not have on dvd yet. x( And money is extremely tight right now, soooo....I'll figure something out. I could always do it without the video, since I have the workout practically memorized.

look forward to hearing from everyone else.

Maggie

Maggie:)
35 weeks down, 5 to go

Hello ladies,
It has been a crazy week.
We went down to Memphis, TN for DH to run a marathon. It was a fun weekend but wow was it exhausting.

My workout week was very lame last week:

Sun - off
Mon - off
Tues - Firm: Complete body sculpting
Wed - hi/lo step class at club
Thurs - off
Fri -off
Sat - Ran the Memphis 5K while DH ran marathon and then walked and walked and walked to cheer DH on

not the best week - I am stuggling with Migraines and basically have one every morning or evening and it has worn me down. It has been exhausting and basically all the days I missed working out I'm sleeping or lying around exhausted from a headache. It is getting old.

Hope everyone has a great rest of the week.

Tuvak--I'm sorry to hear about the migraines. I have never had a migraine, but my son (now 11) gets them occasionally and they are awful--he even vomits sometimes. Go easy on yourself regarding exercise.

I did have lots of headaches during my second trimester and my ob told me that this is normal, particularly because I am an older mom. Maybe your migraines will cease as you move out of the second trimester.

Maggie
