Happy Holiday, everyone!
Here are the workouts I did last week. I didn't plan to do a Timesaver week, but it just worked out that way:
Sun: Rest
Mon: Timesaver #4 - with impact
Tue: Timesaver #2 - with not so much impact
Wed: 35 min. stationary bike, chest and triceps sections from Timesaver #1
Thu: IMax3 step only, biceps/core (modified) from Timesaver #3
Fri: Timesaver #5 - I can't lift myself anymore for those glute sweeps!
Sat: Rest
Finally, some progress on the labor front: The mucous plug uncorked itself today. I know that doesn't mean that I will have my baby today, tomorrow, or even the next day, but it is the first sign I've had of any advancement, aside from the "lightening" (ha - more like anchoring). Also, I lost four pounds between my 37th and 38th week appointments. I'm fairly certain that was all water weight.
Maggie - I reread your first post from last week, and now I have a craving for cookies... again! I am forcing myself to wait until after I work out to do anything about that. ;-) The two of us are almost at the finish line! Hooray!!
Morris - The fact that you are still running as much as you are is amazing! Any concerns about time and speed should be thrown out the window at this point. I was concerned about it for a while, and I discovered that personally, it's not worth the aggravation or the exhaustion.
I too felt nauseous practically 24/7, and that feeling started right after I found out I was pregnant, through my 16th week. I read on a previous checkin that eating apples and peanuts were a big help for someone else in the same boat. I would have tried that myself had I read that in time.
Tuvak - Which gym do you go to? I like how the instructor pointed out that if you and the other preggo could do the workout, they had no excuses. I'm pleased to read that you are migraine-free.
Shopaholic - I gained 10 pounds between two of my monthly appointments - I forget exactly which ones. I hadn't been gaining much before then, so I think I was just catching up. It's warmed up here in Chicagoland too - it's in the 30s - heat wave!!
Welcome to the checkin, Kim! Keep up the great work!
