FiddleFit

Cathlete
Since Wendy should be in full fledged labour today ;-) I thought I'd start the check in.

This week was a good week:
MON StepMax
TUES Rythmic Step w/u, combo1, challenge (30mins); PUB; SM#1
WEDS Christie Taylor's Totally Cool Step; KickMax Leg Conditioning Drills
THURS Muscle Max
FRI Step Jam
SAT Cardio & Weights; KM Leg Conditioning Drills (getting better!)
SUN Rest

How was your week?

Cheers,
Sandra

Wow Sandra! You had a great week! Unfortunately I was sick all week with a bad cold so I spent most of my week in bed. :-( I hope to start working out again in a day or two. I think I'm recovering more slowly than usual b/c of the pregnancy plus there are not many meds which are safe in the first weeks so I've been having a major pity party here-hope to be feeling strong again soon!

WEll, my workouts are becoming a bit more consistent. My energy level is about middle (and getting stronger every day I hope).

Sun: 5 mile walk with kids
Mon: off
Tue: KickMax Boot Camp
Wed: off
Thurs: 4 mi run
Fri: off
Sat: 4 mi run + abs

I will continue with every other day until I feel stronger. I have some allergies/cold coming on. I, like Jules, feel limited by the fact that I won't take any comfort meds. ;) Hang in there Jules!!!

Melanie - Wow! Great week! I'm looking forward to having more energy as soon as this dang m/s is over.

I really was just popping in for news of Imani or Wendy - wasn't even going to post - I did a workout last Sunday, spent an hour dancing with the girls another day, and did 2 hours hard gardening (prepping all the beds for planting, maybe next week) and that was IT! DH was out of town two nights, had to change my work schedule around for deadlines, one dentist appt., and DD#1 had an ENT specialist appt (got an ear tube removed and hearing test) Between that and feeling too nauseated to move, I really didn't get any w/o's. Maybe this week...

Have my first appt on Friday, so that should be fun. I have to remember to write down my questions or I'm sure to forget. I've had such a pregnant brain, lately! ;-)

Good Morning Ladies.

I have only 3 work outs to report...

Mon: First half of C & W
Tue: Second half of C & W / Stretch Max # 1
Thu: Body Fusion

Maternity leave begins today so hopefully I will have the time AND the energy to get atleast 4 work outs in this week! We shall see...

ETA: Sorry Sandra...no baby yet!;-)

You all look like you had a good week.

I didn't get in many workouts this past week. I too have a cold (scratchy throat, cough and I'm so tired).

Sun - nothing
Mon - nothing, home with sick child & I was so tired
Tues - walked 3.5 miles and Push/Pull
Wed - walked 3.5 miles
Thurs - walked 3.5 miles
Fri-Sat - nothing

Let's hope this week is better.

Hi ladies!
I got in two good long powerwalks this week. About 4 miles on flat roads with the stroller on Weds, and 4 miles of intense hills on Sunday! Today is the first day of my last week of working--I can't stop smiling!
On Mother's Day lots of people said I look like I've dropped, and my SIL's mom (a labor nurse) said I don't look like I'll go to term (June 9th). I hadn't noticed the drop, and I really would like to go to term, so I hope she's not right! Lots to do before our little boy arrives!
Speaking of arrivals, his Pottery Barn nursery furniture is arriving this afternoon- YAY!

Hey, do we know what's going on with Imani? I guess we just wait for a post. And Wendy, you look great!

Lisa

Good morning ladies! Last week I did not get very many workouts in as well. I've been dealing with allergies/sinus drainage non-stop for at least 3 weeks now. It has to come to an end soon, hopefully.

In any case here are my workouts:
Tuesday - PS - 2 sets per each muscle group
Saturday - push mowed yard (1 hour)

Maybe this week will be better, but today and tomorrow DH will be in Chicago so I might not be able to get any workouts in. It all depends on DS's mood. Lately he has been going through the terrible twos.

Keep up the great workouts!!

hello ladies,

i've managed to get in 3 45 min. powerwalks and thur. i did supersets.

you guys are all doing so great!

Lisa,

Thank you so much! :D

I intend to get a pic taken of myslef as soon as I get home from the hospital...I will post it for you all to see if you promise not to laugh at me! :p

I'd love to (remember to) take a pic of myself monthly to show progression in getting my pre-preg. figure back too!

And ofcourse, I will post plenty of pics of the baby cause I know that's all anyone's REALLY gonna wanna see anyhow! LOL :p

Hello ladies,

Monday: Gym Style Legs

Tuesday: Low Max 45 min

Saturday: 2 mile walk for Pregnancy Recourse Center raised some money for their Walk 4 Life - got a good sweat worked up too!

Sunday: Muscle Max - arms only 42 min and some ab work on my own

Well it was a decent week, my goal at least, but I still managed to gain .5 a lb this week and it's depressing me. I mean I "know" this is sappose to happen but I'm still not ready to see the scale tip. Right now I'm surpressing that grained in urge to "run it off", that I have had for the last 3 years, sigh. Still I'm hoping by 20 weeks not to gain over 10lbs, then I'll be happy, but well see... I hate waiting!

Monday: run on Riverfront (1.5 miles) and run up/down stairs of Arch, 10 minutes Pilates
Tuesday: gym- more running, elliptical, bike, etc.
Wednesday: step only from Body Fusion, abdominal "add on"
Thrusday: back to the gym- stairmaster, leg machines (I think I only went to read magazines)
Friday: short stroller walk, 24 minutes Crunch yoga
Saturday: walk with stroller
Sunday: Timesaver #2, but I left out the hi/lo. Also did part of #5 to see what this kick butt lunge was about. (thanks again for this DVD recommendation- it's perfect)

Some days were pretty light, but I was happy to do a little something everyday.

Kristan, due 11-1-05 with #3

RE: Hey Kristan!

Hi Julie- we live in the soulard area, near the brewery. My husband and I both work downtown. I had both of my girls at St. Mary's. I saw in other posts your husband is in medical school- SLU or WashU? I went to MIzzou for undergrad, SLU for law school. How funny you're in town too (and we both had the subchorionic hematoma LOL). kristan

RE: Hey Kristan!

My husband is a med student at SLU. I will be delivering at St. Mary's this time. It's nice to see someone else from the good ol Show Me State!

RE: Hey Kristan!

I finally made it to my first appointment. :) It's funny - I was just there a year ago, and so many things have changed. My favorite doctor isn't doing deliveries anymore and they have a whole slew of new people. I'll be meeting them over the next six months or so - I hope I like them!

Anyway, we heard the heartbeat - she said it was early, so don't freak out if she couldn't find it, but there it was... :) I love that sound! So, all is well. I get to schedule a ultrasound since I'm 'so old':p I may not like the label, but I'll be happy for the u/s.

Heartbeat

I'm eager to hear baby's heartbeat too! My first ob appointment isn't until the 8th of June. I think I'll be about 14 weeks then. There shouldn't be any problems hearing the baby's heartbeat by then. :)
When does the nausea go away? Someone please offer some encouraging words please?@@?@?!!
