Hi!

Wendy, I love seeing all the variation you're putting into your workouts these days. Having a lot of new workouts is a hoot, isn't it? I notice that you're not doing any cardios over 30 minutes these days. Is that because they are just becoming too much for you at this stage, or you just prefer to do the 30 minutes? I'm asking because I'm sure there will come a time when I'll want to scale back my cardio, and I'm curious about when that might be.

I had a really good week. I received my HC order on Thursday afternoon, and have been having a lot of fun trying to sneak in some previews whenever I can, and testing out the new workouts. I really, really want to do the KickMax Challenge, and IMAX3 Blasts, but it's obvious that they are out of my league, currently (2 months ago, I'd have been all over these workouts!). But it's nice to have a post-partum goal!

My week:

MON IMAX2 (modified some blasts; toned down the others); BS/BF abs

TUES Step Blast combos 1&2 (Timesaver #3); SuperSets

WEDS Rhythmic Step

THURS Step, Jump & Pump (modified the hi/lo); Stretch Max #3

FRI Low Max; Core Max #2

SAT IMAX3 non-blast premix; Muscle Max; Stretch Max #1

SUN rest/Stretch Max #2

I think I'm going to have to start excluding hi/lo from my workouts, due to the stress incontinence. I'm kegelling like crazy (have been for some time), but it doesn't seem to help in this regard. Could be all the fluid I drink before each workout.

Have a great week everyone!

Hi Sandra,

Actually my 30 min cardio is only because I am doing a CTX rotation technically. I have substituted some of the cardios in CTX for others so I make sure they are short like the ones in CTX. I imagine I could still handle a 60 min cardio...though it's been a few weeks since I've tried...

After this rotation is finished I'm considering doing a rotation that focuses on weight training since I have a few (new) full body weight work outs to try! So I think during that rotation I will bump my cardio back up to about 60 mins per session but with considerable less freqency than I have been doing (maybe 3x per wk)...and I will find out if I can still handle it! ;) I haven't really concentrated on the weights in a while...I think it's time I do...They obviously won't be as heavy as I would normally try to go though.

Take Care!

Have a great work out!

Hi Everyone! I am getting over a really bad cold, so my workouts reflect that...
Sun: walk-45min
Mon: off
Tues: Fit Mama-30 min.
Wed: sick-cold was really, really bad
Thurs: off-getting over cold
Fri: Felt some energy-did Firm Tough Tape 2-45 min.
Sat: cleaned (does that count?)-1 hour. I did work up a sweat, but then I had to rest cause I was wiped out.
Today (Sun)-Walked-45 min, Fit Mama Yoga/Stretch-30 min

My cold is not completely gone-actually it may be turning into a sinus infection. I have been really, really hungry for the past few days. And, last week at work, I had to stop teaching and sit down to eat cause I felt like I was going to pass out. Luckily, one of the moms who helps in my room is a nurse, so she said to just sit and eat my snack until I felt better. The feeling did pass both times, rather quickly. This used to happen in my 1st trimester. The dr. said it was most likely low blood sugar.

I have my last childbirth ed. class tomorrow. It's hard to believe that it is the last one! And, it's even more amazing to think that my due date is quickly approaching.

Have a great week everyone!

Hi everyone. I had a bad week. I have nausea 24/7. Ugh!!!

Monday: 45 minutes cardio
Tuesday: 30 minutes cardio, 15 min lower body at the gym, GymStyle Chest & Triceps
Wednesday: sick
Thursday: sick
Friday: 45 minutes cardio, floorwork from Gym Style Legs and CoreMax #1
Saturday: 30 minutes on the elliptical + #3 from Stretch Max
Sunday: sick

Sunny D I'm a slacker too! I'm just too tired to try to fit much in, and to be truthful I'm scared that it might bring on one of those episodes I've been periodically having. Most nights I go to bed at 9 or 9:30 when DS goes to bed. I'm not much company for DH. Thank goodness he understands.

Monday I put together my own weight workout by doing 2 sets of 12-15 reps per muscle group. It brought my workout down to about 30 minutes. That is about all I can muster now a days.

Tuesday I did the first 2 step combos for Step Blast.

That's all folks!

I know I need to up my workouts, but I just can't at this point. At least I'm not gaining much weight. Hopefully spring will be here soon so I can take DS and our dog for walks. I love the fresh air. I think that would be more motivation for me to get moving. I'm hoping to begin walking on the treadmill at least for a little bit each night. I'll just have to see how that goes.

Wendy & Sandra - Great workouts!

Jen I hope you start feeling better. Isn't your due date just around the corner? I can't remember when you said it was.

Dana - Just hang in there. The first trimester will be over soon enough and hopefully you will have more energy to do what you want to do.

Have a great day everyone!

Another so so week workout-wise.

Sunday - walk around the mall for ~2hrs
Monday - rest
Tuesday - rest
Wednesday - leisa Hart Fit Mamma - prenatal yoga
Thursday - walk partially home from work with my bookbag containing my laptop
Friday - rest
Saturday - 10 min sol. toning - thighs, arms and stretch sections

I haven't been sleeping that well lately and that prevents me from getting up early enough to workout. I may try to start working out after work instead of before.

I had a doctor's appointment last friday and things are going well. I am measuring 1 cm short but the doctor said that was fine. Now I will start going to the doctor's every other week! I'm in the home strecth now!

Glad to read about everyone's weeks. My sympathies go out to the women in the 1st trimester. Just try to remember that things should get better in the second trimester!

Imani,

I feel your pain in regards to sleeping. I sleep well up until about 3 or 4am and then it's constant tossing and turning to try to alleviate the aches and pains that plague me from then on! I SHOULD just get up by like 5am and then I could exercise in the mornings! I have always worked out at night coz I never wanted to get my lazy butt up in the morning to do it...but lately I am getting up earlier and earlier coz it just hurts to sleep after a while.:-(

Congrats on entering the "home stretch"! I'll be there right with ya in just a couple of weeks! :D :7 :+ :)

Have a great work out!

I am due on 3/31. We just got back from our last prenatal class, and this class was a tour of the hospital. Well, when we were on the labor and del. floor, one of our group members was already there, getting ready to deliver. She is about 2 weeks early. She let us come in her room (it was the calm before the storm). Otherwise, we would have not had the chance to see a room cause they were all filled.
