Moms 2 B check-in 03/26/05

Hey Ladies!

I just finished doing some cleaning around the house and now I am waiting for DH to get his butt outta bed to help me do something so I'm bored...figured I'd do check in a day early! :)

Here's my week..including what I intend to do later today:

sun: Pyramid Bonus Premix

mon: Thighs of Steel-standing only (remember this one! OLD!!!LOL)
Gazelle for 30 mins.
Stretch Max # 1

tue: C&W Timesaver Step Premix
CTX: UBS-back/chest/shoulders

wed: Rest

thu: SJP Allstep Premix
CTX: UBS-tris/bis

fri: Low Max Step Only Premix

today: BC/ME Bonus Premix is on the schedule.

Mom is coming down for a visit today. She will probably be here between 11 and noon. We are gonna do some shopping together. Made these plans coz I thought DH was going to be working O/T today. Unfortunately that did not pan out. Could have used the $ too. ;( Oh well, there will be other opportunities....

Hey Wendy! We're losing members very quickly! It's time to start a recruitment campaign. Maybe we should go over to the other forums and ask a few people to please reproduce so we can boost our numbers again.

You know how my week went: lots of fork-lifting and channel-surfing. Just exhausting.

Oh, you know, I don't think I ever replied to your post in last week's check in. Thank you for your kind words. I had very high hopes for this pregnancy; being able to continue exercising and looking reasonably fit (and keeping the excess weight gain down), and it's been very hard to adjust to the fact that I may end up at the end of this pregnancy completely overweight and out of shape. It's a tough mental adjustment to make.

Anyway, I hope everyone else had a great week! Take care!

Hi all! Your right Sandra about losing members! Well have to do some recruiting.

My week went well. I was really busy and active at work so I didn't do any formal workouts. My belly is growing really fast now! I keep hitting it on things like the table and doors. Sleeping is getting harder and harder. I'm starting to look forward to the time when I'm done with this pregnancy!

Good morning ladies.

Here are my workouts for the week:

Sun: none
Monday: 45 minutes cardio
Tuesday: walked 3.5 miles outside
Wednesday: GS B/S/BI and abs from MIS on the stability ball
Thursday: 45 minutes cardio
Friday: none
Saturday: none

I"ve been pretty busy at home. Friday I was off work so I cleaned all day. Saturday I scrubbed out the refrigerator, went grocery shopping and did tons of laundry. I'm finding that on my days off I don't really get a chance to sit down. Yesterday (Easter) was a nice relaxing day. We went to my mom's so I didn't have to cook. Today is my last day off from our Easter break and tomorrow is back to the usual (yuk!!!).

Well, this week has been better exercise wise than my previous weeks, but I'm only trying to get in 30 minutes at a time. I just don't have the energy to do anymore than that.

Monday - Musclemax - Upper Body Premix
Tuesday - Muscle Max Lower Body Premix
Wednesday - AllStep - cardio only
Thursday - GS Legs - had to skip some of the exercises
Friday - none, spent all day cleaning the house, including the refrigerator, and going grocery shopping
Saturday - made Easter dinner for brother, niece, cousin, MIL & FIL, I even did all the clean up myself.
Sunday - total body strength training on my own, I did 3 sets of 15-10-10 reps for each body part.

This morning I feel so exhausted like I never slept this weekend. Hopefully by the end of the day I will have more energy. Lately I've been experiencing heartburn throughout the day and at night before I go to bed, which is reaffirming my mother's intuition that this baby is a girl. I never had any symptoms with DS. DH is hoping this baby is a boy. We still need to wait another month before we find out. On a bright note, I'm so excited. Thursday is my next doctor's appointment.

how long is postpardum considered to you? Logan will be 1 year on Wed. :eek: the time flew!!! But I have no other friends who workout, who will hold me accountable, or even understand how important w/o is to me and my subliminal happiness.... So if one year is good enough for you, you have recruited me..... :7
 
Well I had another week off exercise. I went in today for my 8 week checkup and all is well! Apparently I had my due date wrong and we are offically 8 weeks today!!! Good thing to cause I am SO excited to get past this first trimester and get some energy back!!! The NP that I saw today said I could do light low impact exercise but they don't want me doing weights till I'm past the 12th week. So I think I'm gonna purchase Low Max today. I heard so much about it giving a good burn in the legs and that is what I want to maintain, my leg muscles, as long as I can at least! Glad to see everyone is doing well!
