Wow Wendy, 2 months! It'll be here before ya know it.

Nothing here. I'm on restrictions for now. I am so hoping at my 8 week visit next week that I'm allowed to start back slowly. But then again, I'm scared half to death of bleeding again. I want to keep healthy for the baby, just don't know if being active is it right now or not. My fatigue is absolutely aweful. I go to bed any where between 8 and 10, more like 9ish. I was in church yesterday after a full nights sleep, and was falling asleep in church - so embarressing. All day I feel drained except for about 3 hours of the day. When 7:00 comes around I'm basically done for the day, so pitiful! I don't remember being this crazy tired with my son. ARRRGGH!!! x( But on the upside I feel overall good and the bleeding hasn't picked up again, YEAH! So that's me, I'm busy buying maternity clothes on ebay! ;-)

Hi all! I had an emotional week. I went for an interview last wednesday for a new job and it was the toughest thing I have ever been through. I found out on Thursday that I didn't get the job. I have started to move on and am focusing on the arrival of the baby now. As a result of all the crazyness, I didn't do any formal workouts. I am hoping for a better week this week.

Physically I am feeling good except for my poor ribs. The baby keeps kicking and pushing against them.

Wendy, I'm right there with you! I only have a little over 6 more weeks to go! I'm getting so excited to meet this little one!

Dana~~~I am hoping that these 2 months go by quickly but some say it drags so who knows! lol

ETA: I see your work outs are picking up! Good for you! You must be feeling better! YEAY!

:) :) :)

Imani~~~It's so nice to have someone else due around the same time as me. I know what you mean about being excited to meet your baby...I am too! I have been since about 5 months! LOL

:) :) :)

Julie~~~The exhaustion stinks but it's usually only temporary. I suffered it too in a big way but it DID go away...it started to subside for me before the first trimester even ended. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya that it's the same way for you!

:) :) :)

Have a great work out!

I'm just going to say "ditto" to Julie's post :) It's very difficult to go from being extremely active down to nothing overnight, but ultimately it's better to be safe than sorry, hey? I was as tired as you are in my first trimester, too, Julie. I was in bed by 8pm every night - and asleep even before my 4 year old! It's such a struggle to get through the day when you're that tired. Thank heavens it's temporary! I went out on the weekend and bought some maternity clothes! It feels so good to wear clothes that make me look maternal, rather than fat! How do you buy maternity clothes on ebay? How do you know they will fit, and can you return them if they don't?

I'm glad to hear the bleeding hasn't returned. I'm in the kinda weird situation of wishing the bleeding would return! It is sporadic; comes and goes every few days. I know from my u/s last week that there's still a lot of blood in my uterus, and that the doctor isn't going to give me a clean bill of health until it's all gone, so I'm just wishing it would hurry up and come out already! I want to be able to bend over and tie my shoes without having to worry that the activity is going to end my pregnancy! Oh, the stress! Anyway, good luck to you, Julie. I hope you are taken off your restrictions next week.

Cheers!
Sandra

i too haven't done too much in way of exercising. except chase my son up and down the street while he is riding his bike....does that count? :)
seems like i just can't find the time or energy....:(

imani- i am in the same boat as you...trying to find a job while pg. it's very disheartening.

It sounds like I am in the same boat as some of you with no energy to workout. I'm so glad the first trimester is finally over. I think Saturday and Sunday I had more energy than I have had in a while. Maybe this is the beginning of a new phase with more energy. Let's hope so. I desperately need to workout to try to keep my weight gain to a minimum. I'm ashamed to say how much I have gained so far. However, instead of formally working out on Sunday I took on the major task of reorganizing my closet. My main goal was to put all the clothes that I can still fit into together in one section. Believe me, there isn't much! I just don't want to wear my maternity stuff too soon because by the end of the pregnancy I will be so sick of wearing the same clothes over and over again and with this being my last pregnancy I don't want to buy anymore clothes. However, I think I have more than enough to carry me through the spring/summer.

On a bright note, I was able to get in a little exercise last week.
Monday - I was returning from my trip. So I spent literally all day at the airport
Tuesday - cleaning house, grocery shopping, spending time with DS, & doing tons of laundry. I think that all of that stuff should count as a workout.
Wednesday - nothing
Thursday - took DS & dog for a 2 mile walk. It was so beautiful outside.
Friday - nothing
Saturday - nothing, but I did go see Hitch with my cousin. It was really funny.
Sunday - organized my huge walk-in closet. I even took care of DH's side too. Afterwards I straighted up my huge armoire and separated all my clothes into two piles. One I can fit into and the other good luck, maybe next year.

With it being so beautiful today I am hoping to get in a little walking and maybe some weights. I might have to break my weights up into lower/upper body workouts and try to do them on separate days until I get back into the exercise swing of things. I'll play it by ear and see how it goes.

Good luck everyone with your workouts! I hope everyone has a good week.

I felt my baby move!

I thought maybe I was imagining things, but he/she is kicking quite a bit right now. He/she must not have liked my breakfast. I can't believe that I could feel it this early. Is it really possible?

RE: I felt my baby move!

Kristi,

congratulations!! from speaking to my dr. and from what i've read experienced moms can sometimes feel their babies move alot earlier. because you now know what it feels like. so it's definitely possible!!
how wonderful for you. i believe i have felt mine move a few times also.

on a sad note, i had to call my dr. today because my stomach was crampy all last night...:(
i am hoping she will be able to see me today...

RE: I felt my baby move!

Sunnydelite, I hope everything is okay with the baby and your doctor appointment goes well. Please let us know.

RE: I felt my baby move!

Kristi, I've been feeling my baby move for 2 weeks now! It surprised me to feel it so early, too, but I'm very thankful. One day I even felt a huge thud, which I think must have been baby doing a full somersault! Other than that, it's just lots of light tickling. Have fun!

Sunnydelite, I'm worried about you. Keep us updated as to what's happening, please. I'll be thinking about you today.

Sandra
