Hey girls!

Just wanted to start the thread today.

I have Firm It Up on tap for today which is the SS' version of Cathe's LL only LONGER!!! EEEK! :eek: :eek: :eek: My hamstrings are still a bit sore too. I did a 30 minute stretch before bed last night so I'm sure it helped but I'm still not DOMS free yet. I'll probably be LIMPING tomorrow! LOL }(

It is nasty nasty cold out today! BRRRR! It started getting cold yesterday afternoon! I left for the grocery store around 3pm and it was still tolerable outside...by the time I came out after shopping it was god-awful outside! My hands HURT from the cold in the short time I was outside loading my car with the bags! YIKES! I am sooo glad that I decided to shop yesterday so that DH was home to stay with Joey. I can't see taking him out in this weather if I don't need too!!!

Ok Lori and Susan...I got on the scale and the weight loss is sticking! WOOT WOOT! I am 128 pounds versus the 130 that I was just 10 days ago! :+ :+ :+ I must go change my ticker now!;)

It is beautiful here! I am so happy with the weather we have been having and I hope it keeps up! We have a little bit of snow, then we get 2-3 days of mild weather and light rain, then the snow is gone again.Last night it was 13 degrees out.And that is good for us.Normally, this time of year we can't even see out our front wondow b/c the snow is piled so high. I hope this keeps up.I am not much of a winter person so I am loving this.

Im glad the scale stuck for you.We are both, once again, at the same weight.When I woke up today I was 128.5.I am happy with that.I don't care to lose or gain now but it would be o.k to lose another couple, that way I have 5 lbs to play with.

Im not sure what my workout will be today.I had a Dr's visit today,concerning our fertility and he thinks I should cut back on the exercise.I am going to start another tread on this, just to see what kind of exercise everyone thinks I should do to maintain what I have.Either way...Im not sure what I will do with my time.Maybe lots of ab work on my days off.

Where is everyone else? I am on my second coffee and I am washing the sheets in the beds...guess why??? Dog fur everywhere! I have them out in the shed today so they can "shed" as much as they want out there.It is nice not to have them under my feet at times.

Wow, you don't have much farther to go now. You are almost there!!!!! YEAH!!! I know what you mean about the cold. Very cold here too, but suppose to be warming up again this week here, in the 50's. YEAH!


Well I almost fell out of bed this morning. My brother came down from Maryland to watch the Steelers with us beat the heck out of the Colts. DH was very pleased and screaming and shaking at times! LOL! Anyhow, so because brother was going to be over, I didn't do a long workout. Instead I went even heavier and shortened my reps with deadlifts. I decided to do 80# for deadlifts in sets of 3 doing 10 reps instead of 15. I also did squats at 115 as usual in 5 sets of 8. So my legs are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo sore!!!!! I am all crippled up now!!!! LOL! I like doing this heavy stuff, but I tell you, it is setting me backwards with my endurance, which by the way sucks lately. I try to run and instantly my lungs will start burning. Same as when I do the Cathe workouts with the lighter weights and higher reps like in ME....burning lungs again. I know I will see good results with going heavy, but I still to switch it up more. I guess I am just experimenting for now.

Oh, BTW, I know you all were talking about my slutty boots yesterday and gossiping about how much I like men. LOL! Well there is only one man in my life, but I can't help to appreciate a good looking man from time to time...I ain't dead, ya know? LOL!

I will be happy when I'm back at 125 but I'd REALLY like to TRY to get down an additional 5 pounds if I can....we'll see what happens.

I guess a good place to start is to cut down the mileage you do. You don't seem to do weight work much so I wouldn't concern myself with cutting that down. Why can't you still run every day but just not go as long?

I know about dog hair, girl! Trust me! Pain in the a$$, ey? lol
 
Hahaha...we know your not a bad girl Charlotte but you know what women are like! We needed something to gossip about and you weren't around sooooooo we started talking about you!:) :) :) I don't think any women (who likes men) as a problem appreciating the good looking ones.I think thats why God put them here:7

Wendy- I really like being at 125 lbs to.When I really watched what I ate I was 123 lbs but I didn't really appreciate that like I would now! Although that is only 5 lbs away and not a big difference.As long as my clothes fit, I am happy.But we will see what happens.Maybe if I cut back on exercise my appetite may also decrease and I may lose a couple more pounds.

Well, this girl didn't listen to her dr today.I am wondering if I should wait until my specialist apt before I do anything drastic that will ruin my life;) ;) So I just finished LM and I did Shoulders and abs.

I think 13 degrees here, is something else where you are to.Its like miles and kms.We go by kms while americans use miles.So, it is not cold here, its mild and you can go out with a sweater on.

Anyway,got to get in the shower and get ready for work.I had a nice hour long nap this afternoon so Im good to go!

Oh oh - I better pop in so you girls don't gossip about me since I'm not around! Today is DH's mom's birthday so I got up, worked out, showered and then we went and got her a gift certificate and took her to lunch. Then we had to go grocery shopping and then I had to make something for dinner tonight. So here I am - finally!

I did a Bowflex workout today and I can lift SO much heavier since I've started Cathe workouts. How cool is that? I'm so excited!

Charlotte - all I can say about your workouts is that you're an ANIMAL!!! You are one tough woman!

Way to go on your weight loss sticking Wendy! I knew it would.

I'm really envious of you girls weighing in your 120's! I wish I weight 120 something. How tall are you both? I'm 5' 8 1/2", so 125 is probably too low for me. But I'd love 130. I'm about 143 now though, so that may be a stretch! Maybe if I didn't lift weights, I could get there, but then I wouldn't be toned. Maybe 135 is more realistic.

I did something to my hand and it's been killing me. I'm thinking of actually going to the doctor. What a baby, huh? Years ago when I was a kid, they said I tore a tendon. So now I have this bone that sticks out. But now it has a little bump on the end of the bone that wasn't there before. I'm not sure if there's anything they can do - I guess it depends on what it is. It's probably nothing so I should probably quit complaining. But it hurts to type and that's important! Hehehe.

Lori - I hope your DH isn't saying "I told you so" about the exercise! When is your specialist appointment?

Hi Susan- DH had a very smug look on his face when I told him what the Doc said...so I should have kicked him right between the eyes!:eek: ;) :) I don't know when my apt is and it could be a while yet.You know what specialist are like.They are usually blocked for monthes.Although,I was talking to my friend today and her aunt, is the specialist secertary...so she is going to have a talk to her and see if I can get in earlier.Isn't it nice to have friends?:)

I think 130 would be to low for you.Although we can't really compare ourselves to others.I know if I were 115 that would be to low and to hard to maintain for me and I am not even 5'4".When I was in highschool I was 118 and i was small then.
