Okay, am I missing the thread somewhere else??? Surely SOMEONE started this before now?

Well, if not, here it goes. If so, here it goes again.

Today we have beautiful weather so I was able to actually go for a ride outside! Yay!!! I only went 22 miles but it felt great to be outside on my bike instead of in the basement on the trainer.

Life with the puppy is getting so much better. The excitement for Macy has worn off and it's becoming more normal around here. We've had him since Wednesday and still no accidents in the house (I know, I know, I'm jinxing myself again). We take him out quite regularly though and we watch him every minute. Housetraining is a lot of work, but it's so worth it to do it right from the start. Plus he's a little chew monster, so we have to watch him for that too.

Charlotte - I was talking to a super fit friend of mine and she said that she can't cycle or do step b/c it makes her legs too muscular and she can't fit into her jeans. So.....start riding more and doing some step!!!

We're taking the puppy visiting other dogs today and also some people for socialization. That ought to make him nice and tired and he'll sleep good later when we want to watch a movie (Capote - did you guys see it?). He likes to snuggle on the couch. Oh so cute. :)

Toodles...

Susan

Hi Susan.

I guess we have a bunch of slackers here today! I can't believe that Lori did not start this thread today! She must be galavanting around town somewhere! :p

So I take it it's looking more like you'll be able to keep the puppy? :+

A 22 mile bike ride!? HOLY COW, Susan! That's awesome!

They should have a mileage tracker on spin bikes. I'd be curious to see "how far" I've ridden by the time one of those classes is over....

I'm off to the gym shortly for some running. Maybe I'll jump on a bike and/or the eliptical as well...I can do a 20/20/20 work out. 20 mins on each machine. Sounds good...but which to do first? *scratches head in deep thought and consideration*

Good Afternoon Chickies!!

You know, I still don't know what workouts I am doing today. Isn't that sick? LOL! I am undecided about running. Should I do KPC, more BBM's? Getting a rotation together this evening for the next 6 weeks, but today I just don't know what to do.

Took son to the DMV to get his Learner's Permit. He passed the test!!! YEAH, I think!? Hubby is taking him out now to drive...who knows where. DD is getting her driver's license Tuesday. So we get back from DMV alittle late which forced me to get some food. I got a rotissiere chicken from the grocery store to make sandwiches out of. A nice little old lady showed me her boxed frozen entree which she said was her lunch. I kept my mouth shut though! LOL! I wanted to say, "uh, that is really bad for you", but my lips were sealed. ;)

I am on DH's case today about doing some kind of cardio. He is not going to do it. He will say he will and then not to do it! So I told him he has a chunky belly and he has to do it. Last night he said I had a ego problem because he says I am obsessed with my legs just because I tried on bikin's yesterday so I could see my legs in the dressing room mirror (((rolling eyes))) Doesn't make me mad cuz I already know it..tell me something I don't know. LOL! Like it is a bad thing anyways??? He also tells me to throw away my body fat analyzer and that it is a piece of crap! LOL! You know that thing is so screwy anyways. Yesterday it said my body fat was 15%, this morning it is 13%!

Susan,

So I am going to keep up with bike riding and maybe I will go longer next time like yourself...GOOD JOB! I like the idea of burning my legs one way or another. It is a good thing!

Wendy,

So how is the running going for you? A few days ago I went non stop for 30 mins so that is a big improvement for me as the time before that it was 10 mins, but interval running so it was quite harder.

Charlotte~~

Hi Charlotte.

I was back at the gym today and hopped on the treadmill intending to run 2 miles again like I did earlier in the week. Well, I got a cramp and had to back it down to a fast walk after about 3/4's of a mile. At a mile I got off and moved on to the recumbant bike...and then the eliptical...I finally got back on the treadmill about 30 mins later and ran for about 10 mins before my cardio hour was up. I will go back and try again in a few days. I want to get better but I think it will be a slow process. I am not going to rush it. I have sooo many cardio options now between what's at home and at the gym. I will try to run 2-3 times per week but if it doesn't happen for one reason or another I am not going to sweat it. I would, however, love to one day be able to run in a 5K race. That would be cool. That's my goal. :)

Are your kids twins?? They are getting thier liscences sooo close together, I had to ask! I can't imagine how stressful the whole driving thing must be on a parent!!!

I have had the precooked rotissere chickens from the grocery stores before...they are absolutely YUMMY but so expensive...I RARELY buy them. To heck with the old lady and the boxed lunch...she's probably gonna die soon anyway, right? ;) LOL (sorry if that offended anyone! I was just making a joke!:D )

See ya back here tomorrow!:)
