Moment of Truth Mar 14th

I SURVIVED!!!! Although, I had to do a little bit of bribing!! My 2 boys kept fighting about who stands on the cart, who puts the stuff in the cart, what cereal to get, etc....

Missy, a couple of weeks ago, you mentioned you were cooking some kind of chicken, cheese, broc casserole. Can I have that recipe???? That sounds delicious!!! Thanks in advance :)

What is for dinner tonight? I must go get mine started...chicken parmesan, mashed potatoes (for the kids), salad, and fresh veggies. I want to get everything done (dinner, laundry, and baths) before American Idol tonight!!!!

Charlotte, you are to funny! I don't think your BF will sky rocket if you eat to late:) Your such a goof!:+ I don't know what I am going to do about my treadmill.I may look on line but then I will be teased and want a new one forsure!

Sara, we had chicken for dinner as well. The bare essentials are in my cupboards right now but I still managed to make some dinner. DD even said "there is no real milk here" Real milk being 2% and not skim:)

Must go check out the treadmills:)
Lori:)

so is skim milk fake? :p

Sara, I can't remember what I put in it! I just kinda throw stuff together, but I am pretty sure that it looked something like this: two cooked (I boil them) chix breasts shredded, 2 cups cooked brown rice, one full bag of brocolli florets cooked. Put two cans of condensed cream of mushroom soup (or whatever you like) and some sour cream (I don't measure, but roughly about 1/4 cup). Mix that together in a dish, then add brocolli (it gets nice and mushy and nobody can pick it out so I know they are eating something good! }( }( }( ) then add in the rice, then finally the chicken. Put it in a baking dish and for the final sinful step, completely cover the top with cheddar cheese. Tons and tons of it! ;) Cover and bake at 350 for about 30, take out and uncover and then bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese boils. Everyone loves it, including DD who is a very tough critic. The best part? Nobody can taste the brocolli and I use the really high fiber and courser rice that they hate. ;) Of course there is more fat in it than I really care to think about, but they are kids and they use it running around playing with their friends so I don't feel TOO guilty. :p

I am making leftovers tonight. I really don't feel like messing with preparing a meal. I did laundry, twice, because my oh-so-charming son thought it would be funny to dump the clothes out of the basket and drag them through the house while I was doing dishes. And my nephew's dad was 1/2 an hour late picking him up, my dearest sweetest nephew who was so cute enough to pull out all of the DVD's (over 50 of them) of our bookshelf while I was in the bathroom. x( God made them cute so that we wouldn't get mad at them, I think. I was sorely tempted today to lose, but I look at their precious little faces and into their jovial big eyes, and I just lose myself and want to kiss them all over! Logan saw that I was upset and helped me put the clothes back in the basket, the little stinker. :D Well, that is it for this chapter!

See you guys tomorrow probably! :)
