Good Morning Gals,

I am at work now and just finished up a little "work". We have this own guy who is not the nicest..but I say KILL UM WITH KINDNESS! They are bound to come around.Anyway, I picked him and his wife up at the hotel and he was nice to me! Couldn't beleive that I saw a smile.I was thinking, I will try this way, if not, I will just stay out of his way everytime they come through! One the other hand, everyone else I have talked to today seem CRUSTY! Holy cow...talk about a bunch of grumps!

I colored my hair last night after I finished my run.I got it in my head and I did it.I had some professional color in the cupboard and everytime I go to the hairstylist, I go there b/c I want my natural color put back in (thank goodness no gray yet!)but then I get sidetracked and end up getting red or something, then it grows out and I can never find the time to go back and get it redone.I had about 1 1/2 inches of natural peeking through so I colored it.Then to make sure I did a good job, I straightened it.So today I am brown and stragiht.
Plus I have my new uniform on and the pants that 2 monthes ago I couldn't fit into!:) Don't mean to brag but you know...gotta keep up with Charlotte!:)

Anyway..Im back, see my post was fairly long today.Aren't you proud of moi?:)

Thank goodness! Lori is fine everyone! She posted her usual essay today! :p I was beginning to worry! ;)

Anyway lovelies....

Today is Cathe day in my rotation. Cardio, abs and walking lunges.

I am going to my mom's later for the usual friday evening visit w/Joey. Other than that there isn't much going on around here.

I have decided that I want a rebounder so I am going to start saving $ for it. If I can't get enough together before my B'day rolls around then I will ask for it. If I have the $, I am just gonna buy it! }(

It looks gorgeous outside today! I hope it's not cold. Maybe I can get out for a walk with Joey. We walked to the bank yesterday. It was a little chilly but not bad. He didn't seem to mind. ;)

Okay, gotta finish my coffee now!:9
 
Good Morning Girls!

I think I worked out my traps yesterday and didn't mean to as I got DOMS there and not in my shoulders. Should I just start over with shoulders then? Happened one other time when doing front raises.

Well it is going to be a gorgeous day here today and suppose to be 65 degrees. My son is still home sick from school so I just got back from Wal Mart and got him some chocolate chip cookies. I told him to hide them from me. LOL! I got to take some pictures today, no, not just of me LOL, but for ebay. I have alot of MIL's stuff that I have to sell for my FIL so I hope to get to that today.

I didn't get to my leg workouts yesterday so I will do 500 walking lunges, deadlifts, 200 toe touches and help me think of some other stuff, will ya? I don't have time for a Cathe workout today.

As if your son even NEEDS to hide ANY junk food from you? You don't eat the cr@p, remember!? :) You seriously are the goddess of turning down junk food! I envy your restraint!}(

500 walking lunges!? OMG! Then put on those slutty boots tomorrow and see if you can walk! LOLOL! :7 :7 :7

We are talking chocolate here!!!! That is still hard for me if it is in the house.

Now I can't promise that I can walk in these boots especially after I do my lunges (LOL), but I got the picture of them up in my recent file now...so check em' out.

Oh...those boots are slutty!:) I like, I like! I use to have a pair similar to those a few years ago. Actually I didn't realize the ones I am wearing today were so old until I looked at my stagette pics and I was wearing them over 4 years ago! I definitly got my moneys worth out of these. I also like the outfit you are wearing. Is that you school girl outfit for when DH gets home???:7 :+

I can't beleive how cold it is here today but still no snow! Just a little piled up here and there but the ground is pretty dry.
Its only 12 here and I pretty much got any work done that I needed to do.I am trying to decide what to have for dinner and I am leaning towards a spinach salad, with peppers,oranges and rasins!:9 Sad thing is it doesn't last very long.I need some meat to go with it!

Hello, ladies! Sorry that it took me forever to hop on, but better late than never, right? :)

Charlotte, your DH must go crazy whenever you are around!!! You know what you should do, you should take some more pictures of you in that skirt and those hot boots in various poses, some maybe suggestive }( , and print them out and send them to him at work. }( }( }( Write a little note to go with it! If I look as good as you do after 18 years of marriage, that is exactly what I will be doing go Dan. Gotta keep that fire going! ;)

Lori, glad to see you are back to your normal self! did you lose Mom? :p Maybe you already stated what you got, but I missed it, so did you get anything good? Please share! And to go with that salad, maybe add some mozzerella, that is SOOOOOOO good with spinach. I can tell you what else I add, but it would probably make you sick, even though it is delicious to me! I actually just got done eating a spinach salad for lunch. It had one chopped tomato, chinese noodles, sesame seeds, tempeh and soy-ginger dressing. All it needed was some mandarin oranges, but I didn't have any so I just had an orange on the side. It looks like we are two great minds thinking alike! Except for the raisins. I can't stand raisins! :eek:

Wendy, enjoy the weather! It has been unusually mild here. It was almost 60 yesterday and at eight this morning it was 53. That is very odd for this time of year, but we have been out enjoying it! You never know, we may spend the next two months in 20 degree weather or below, and who wants to go out then? Have fun at your mom's. :)

Today is all rest for me. I spent all morning, like THREE HOURS, outside with Logan playing ball, pulling weeds that are already taking root, and getting the rest of my bulbs in the ground. It isn't sunny, but it still feels good, I only needed a sweater. I love digging in the dirt, it is so relaxing! And there were a ton of worms, which I love for my garden! :7 Anyways, that last three days I worked out very hard, so I figure that everything I did outside constitutes as light exercise, so I am resting this afternoon. Tomorrow is a Terminator, I haven't decided which one, yet. I am mustering my courage for it! ;)

Actually, I don't wear outfits like that around DH because I don't think he would notice. It would be great if he would pay me some more attention. I can stand right in front of him in the nude, rubbing myself with body cream and I get no response. x( Sometimes I think we are on two different planets. I do like your idea though. Maybe something different will set off some interest, who knows? I could use some more passion in my life. We are going out somewhere tonight. Not sure where.

Anyhow, I am outside doing my walking lunges today. I am on 200 so far and I have completed two sets of deadlifts at 80# so I bet I will be sore tomorrow.

I hope everyone is having a great day. I'm still trying to figure out what to do for a workout. I REALLY want to go for a run, but my lower back is just starting to feel better so I don't want to get that pain back again. Hmmmm.......any suggestions????? We are going over to the neighbors later for a few drinks and conversation so I want to burn a few extra off before we go.

Hey Marcia! Hope you didn't hurt yourself laughing. LOL! Just got off the phone with FIL and he wanted to know what I was doing. Said I was working out outside. He asked me why I wanted to do that. He thinks I need to gain more body fat and not muscle. He is from a different era so I just let it roll off my shoulders, so to speak. Whatever. Gave me a good laugh. On 300 of the walking lunges so far. Got another 200 to go and I smell right about now. Must mean it is working! LOL!

Charlotte, that is exactly how I felt when Dan got an xbox. I wished so bad that he would love me like he did that little electronic. I think that after a while, we just get used to each other and it isn't as "special" as it was, and now there is more responsibility, more stress, etc. I know how you feel. I think that it would be a good idea to do something completely out of the norm to get his attention. I did that, well not that but something like it, and I cannot tell you how much it helped! So is he taking you out, or vice versa? Have a good time!!! Have you guys seen any movies lately? I don't even know what's out now.

Marcia, you can come over and scrub my shower! That will SURELY give you AT LEAST a 1000 calorie burn EASILY!!! :+ I was just looking at it yesterday. It is the only thing in my house that isn't clean, and it is what I hate to clean the most!!! }( }( }(

Wow...there has been alot of chatting on here since I last checked in! Good greaf! and you all make fun of poor inocent Lori;( :)

Charlotte- DH doesn't notice you anymore? Are you actually doing squats when standing in front of him b/c maybe everytime he turns around you are doing a squat and he doesn't know your there:) I think most DH's are like this.DH will look at me when I pull up my top or something, but he just makes a face like this:eek: and then looks at the t.v again.So I think he is trying to pretend that he noticed what just happened!:)

Missy- Glad to see you checking in.I can't beleive you are at your weeds! Although there isn't any snow here...which makes me wonder when we are going to get it.And when we do I will post a pic b/c you have never seen so much snow in all your life! I also hate cleaning showers but I did it the other day, should be good for a while now:)

Marcia- How is the weightloss journey going? Did you lose that 6 lbs since you decided enough was enough?

I am getting pretty lazy here now.It is almost 5 so it soon will be time to go home.I am not sure what we are doing tonight.DH would like to do something but after working all day I just like to go home and veg.A nice 15 min nap now would be AWESOME!

Hey Lori - YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've taken control and the weight is finally coming off. I don't obsess about it as much anymore and that seems to make it easier. I exercise every day with something. I've started running again, but am having some lower back pain so I have to check on that, but otherwise - things are going VERY smoothly!!! Thanks for asking. See my scale below - it keeps going down-down-down.

Good Girl!:) Its awesome when you finally start seeing results isn't it? Your doing great.As long as you keep focused on what youwant I bet you will feel awesome next christmas! Are you taking pic's of your progress? You should, then you can look back and see how far you have come.

Here I am - late as usual. So I may miss you all!

Marcia - I did Bootcamp this morning before work. Wow - that's early for that workout! This week has been kicking my butt more than usual during my workouts. Maybe that's b/c I'm burning more fat! :)

Hey Missy - I'm glad you got to play in the dirt today. I have this huge perennial garden that the previous owners had put in, but they only owned the house a year (and then got divorced) and they kind of didn't take care of it. They spent a lot of money on it (they had professionals do it) and now I'm trying to get it into good shape. I'm all gung ho the first month or so when spring is here and then I start getting burned out. I totally love gardening and then WHAM - I'm ready for a freeze. What the heck's wrong with me?!

Charlotte - those are pretty slutty boots. Way to go! You look awesome, as you do in everything else you put on! And once again you blow me away with your weights. And 500 walking lunges - no wonder you look so good. I better start doing what you do!

Lori - how's that hair? Did it stay straight all day long? Mine will as long as it doesn't rain or anything. And even when it's totally dry, it can start getting some wave in it by the end of the day. But if it rains, it just curls right back up.

Wendy - did you have fun at your mom's with Joey? I hope so. I think it's awesome that you are a SAHM. I think if it's possible, you should do it. I know it's not for everybody, so more power to ya. I can't wait to hear what you think of the Rebounder. I saw this trucker woman last summer at a rest stop and she was on one of some sort. Good for her!

DH got called out on a SWAT call today. I left work early and we were supposed to go to Denver and he got called just as we were walking out the door. :( They got their guy out of the house and he should be home in a couple of hours (7 0r 7:30pm). I just saw it on the news so I finally found out what happened! Of course I'll get the real story when DH gets home. You know you can't always trust the media.

As usual I think I wrote more than Lori! See what happens when you come in late? I hope I didn't miss anyone.

ETA "He" being home in a couple of hours - DH, not the bad guy. Bad guy was shot in the leg and is in the hospital.

Good evening ladies.

Joey loves goin' to my mom's house. He likes to play with her and her bf...Her bf is a big guy...much taller (and on the husky side) than anyone Joey is used to seeing so I think he is kind of in awe of him. Every time we go there and he first sees him he stares at him and smiles. Then BF takes Joey into the living room and they sit on the couch and watch tv together...it's too cute! They look like mutt and jeff!:+

Looks like everyone had a blast chatting while I was gone...didn't read all of the threads so can't comment on much except to say...

Lori, it's cold by you? We are getting some AWESOME warm weather around here!:p
