Hey Lori!

What's goin' on, girl?

Any good plans for this weekend?

So what's the status on the business DH bought?

Still stalling around town? :p

Have your coffee yet today?:9

What are your work out plans?

I missed my w/o yesterday so I'm doing yesterday's today. It's okay though because the rotation calls for a rest day today so I can just switch that and not miss a thing.:7

Going to visit grandma this afternoon...our usual friday activity.

Hopefully taking pics of Joey and Clyde today for Christmas cards. I hope it's not too late!

Off to get 2nd cup of java!:9

Good Morning Wendy! (and hopefully missy and char wi stop by)

I figured I would start the thread even though I know there are others around...I guess ya can't do it all hey?
Today is a holiday here and DD is gone to my mom's house for the weekend so I slept in a little.I got up at 8:40...big deal! I guess my sleeping in days are pretty much over.
I also started a food log today and I have to put everything in there that I eat.Does anyone else do this? I just have a habit of poking things in my mouth.
I didn't eat a workout in yesterday b/c of the hot water tank situation. Is was pretty late when they finished putting in the new one.So today is KPC or a run and L&G.I am hoping I won't do to my elbow again what I did to it the last time. This house also needs cleaning but I figure DH is gona be around all day and I like cleaning when no one is home.
I also go to work tonight so there is only so much I can do!

Ah it worked. We started this thread at the sametime so I just copied what I wrote before. Now I have two links with the same pics...oh well.
Lori:)

Go to www.fitday.com. It's free. You can log your food there. It's great! :) I bought the cd version which has a few more options to it. This is how I keep track of my food. Writing it all down on paper would drive me batty! Don't bother buying cd like I did. Not worth it. Just use the free online version. I love it! :)

Ive used that before but the calories never seem right.Do you find that? I could eat like a horse all day and it would still end up being 1200 cals. Its is nice to use, just the same.
I use to count cals religiously for years so I know everything...in everything:) And if not I can make a pretty good guess.

No plans for me this weekend.I get to work...and the night shifts to.I go in tonight at 6:30.
DH won't be in his business until Dec 1, which is not to far away now.
I think I am going to clean atleast one room while I am drinking my coffee.I am really leaning towards a run.But there isn't anything on t.v this early in the day
Lori:)

I've noticed some of the pre-input foods in Fitday seem to be off on the cals so I create my own where ever possible. I eat a lot of the same foods every day so once I input them once I can use them over and over. If you want to watch your f-c-p ratios, fitday REALLY helps with that too!

If you are not going to run, why don't you toss your treadmill over to me so that I can use it!? :p Just kidding...I am no runner! :7

Oh but you don't know what you are missing! I bet if you took up running you would love it!:) Unless you have tried before. Its weird though b/c runners tend to be lean and running is suppose to help lean you out but it don't work that way for me.I think I have been doing it strictly for to long. This is why I have cut back to 3 x a week and I am trying to get more kickoxing and step involved.I use to only run outside from May-Nov (maybe Oct) and that was it.I would then do step strictly for the rest of the monthes. And my weight was always at a good (its not that bad now but it as been better)I use to really mix things up 3 yrs ago but since I got the treadmill its just so easy to hop on and I don't have to warm up for very long either. No doubt, I can't blame my 10 lbs weight gain on running...that just wouldn't make since...its my pie hole...can't keep in shut.
I guess you and I are at the same weight now? 132-134? Im really aiming for 125 lbs but would LOVE to get to 120 lba.
Lori :)

I've been holding at 133 for a few weeks now but my bf continues to go down little by little. :)

I have not tried to run in EONS! The only experience I have with running is from High School gym class and I was awful! x( Who knows, I might be good at it now but it would be hard for me to find the time to run outside and I don't have a treadmill. I would actually like to try it some day though...

Morning, ladies. How is everyone doing this morning? I just got the kids off to the bus, and I wish I could go back to sleep, I am SO exhausted. I can't wait for Logan's teeth to come in already. He has four coming in, but they are only coming in one at a time so it has been three weeks since we have had a full night of sleep. Poor thing, I know teething sucks. You know what is funny, though? Mariah never fussed when she was teething. My boys have huge fits, though. That seals the proof that, yes indeed girls are stronger than boys. :p

I think today will be an unsceduled rest day. I may do light cardio after I nap today. Or I will take Logan on a hike through the woods to knock him out -whatayathink?

Wendy and Lori, I did fitday for a few weeks. I have also written down everything I eat. Too much work! I decided to just eat when I am hungry and not eat when I am not. :+ And cut out sugar, which I have had a hard time doing since Halloween. D#mn Almond Joys. Evil. They are so evil!

Wendy, it is not too late for Christmas pix, at least I don't think it is. We waited until last minute last year and were able to get squeezed in. And you really should try running! It is the most fabulous feeling/high you will ever have!!!!!

Now, I have a question... I recently went to a clothing show at someone's house. I LOVE these clothes, I mean LOVELOVELOVE! They are so comfortable and look so faboo! It is from a company called CAbi, Carol Anderson by invitation, CA designs her own clothes and these consultants sell them. Did I mention that I love the clothes? Anyways, I was thinking about selling them. You make a 25% profit off of all you sell (the show I was at was a 1,000+ show, HELLO!). I love the clothes, I love people, I love getting out of the house, I want to make money. I know that it costs to get started, that really doesn't bother me because you usually make it all back in the first few shows anyways. I was just wondering what you guys think. I would get to go out to California twice a year to attend the fashions shows for the new spring and fall lines and I would get to wear all those clothes. I know it sounds like my mind is already made up, but I humbly ask your honest opinions! The clothes range anywhere from $34 to $300, and I do live in a very affluent part of the city so finding people who can spend money on clothes is no problem at all. What do you think? www.cabionline.com here is the website

Sorry the post is so long! Thank you for sticking with it!

I haven't checked my bf in a while but I know it is probably the same.I really want to nip this but I have to get to around 130 before I can start feeling a difference. When I see the scale go down a couple of pounds I never know if I have lost weight or its just water weight.
I hated running in school as well.Actually, I hated all sports so it is a little strange that I am so involved in fitness now.
I started running when I tipped the scales at 137:eek: It was just after I met DH and started collage so I am not sure if it was the freshmen 15 or the fact that I was comfortable in my new relationship.
I started running/walking 5 kms. Then I got into videos.I then started running 8 kms..then 10 kms...now its 14 kms.In between this I found cathe workouts. So all this put together with me doing the "low fat" thing...got me down to a nice 123 lbs.I was so dedicated back then, it was nuts.To the point that I didn't want to go ti functions where there would be food or so on.I wasn't enjoying my life anymore. Now I have gained 10 lbs and still don't want to go anywhere hahahaha
Lori:)

Hi Missy.

I did the consultant thing for a while. I sold Partylite Candles part time. I did the whole in-home party thing, etc. It was fun but it was A LOT of work! I made some $ but not was prepared to give it my all as I was also working full time too. If you are willing to give it the energy and attention it needs then I'll bet you will do great! If the product is good, people will buy. Getting folks to host parties was hard though. Atleast I found it to be that way. Even though they LOVED the product and would attend other's parties and buy...many did not want to deal with having thier own function. Anywho...that's my 2 cents on the whole consultant thing in general. If you will make your investment back quickly then go for it...can't hurt to try if you are reasonably sure you won't lose any money on the deal! ;)

Missy, It does sound like you have your mind made up! I'd say go for it, what do you have to lose?
I checked out the site and the clothes are very nice and reasonably priced.Do they ship to canada? If you start selling and I wanted some....would you ship to moi?;(
Lori:)

Thank you for your input Lori and Wendy.

Wendy, how long did you end up doing Partylite? Do you think it would be alot easier since you are a SAHM now? Did you still sell even if you didn't have parties? TIA, and I love Partylite! I had a party a few years ago (the one that my ghost decided to make an appearance at. I will have to tell you about that later!) and loved the sconces and got a Tiffany-type lamp. Great stuff! Great quality, too. :)

Missy

My sister is selling partylite in her free time so I know what I am getting for christmas:) Lots of candles.

I am done my workout.I did a 5 mile run and CTX bic and shoul. It was a good workout but I wasn't into it until the end.I even ditched the ab work i was gonna do but I guess I can do taht anytime today.
Lori:)

I love partylite, too! Does she like selling it? I love the way the candles burn, they turn all liquidy, it's so cool!

I think that when the kids get home, I am going to take them to the park and go for a trail walk this afternoon. I am way to tired to workout. I need to nap but I can't sleep in the middle of the day. Oh, well. I guess it is my lot in life to suffer. ;( Just kidding, if the only thing I have to complain about is that I am tired, life is GOOD!

Missy

Missy, I did the Partylite thing for about 6 months or so. I got LOTS of free or really cheap candles and holders during that time and made some money as well!:) I LOVE thier candles but don't know of any local consultants anymore. :-(

Doing sales consulting as a SAHM will probably be MUCH easier so long as your DH or someone else who is willing to watch the kids unless you have great customers that let you BRING your kids!:+

Well, I'm done working out...off to the showers!

TTFN!:)

I wouldn't have a problem getting sitters for the kids at all for evening shows. And now that you mention it, I don't know anyone doing Partylite anymore, either! I know someone who did it for a while, but she quit and I can't remember why. I think she had a full time job at the time and didn't have enough time, same reason as you. Now, get this, she works as a manager at McDonald's and because she speaks spanish, she makes more than my DH, who has certifications and 2 decades of experience and is the highest paid in our area for what he does (because he is the best, of course! ;))!!!! She has got it made now.

Missy

Hi Girls...anyone round???:) Im at work;( and I am here alnight and I will be bored for a little while but I do have something to do and after that I have a couple of mags to read...and hopefully that will put me to sleep:)
