Moment of Truth: Feb 3, 2006!!!!

Hey Girls!

I don't know what is going on with me this morning. Jumped on the scale as usual and so I weigh 119 this morning? Think I must be full of crap!!! LOL! I worked out hard and crashed at 8pm on the couch...didn't get to watch Survivor. Anyhow, this is what I ate yesterday so go figure???? BTW, body fat monitor is up by .4...weird!

Meal 1 - Oatmeal
Meal 2- egg/cheese on lite wheat
Meal 3- yogurt/peanuts
Meal 4- 2 lightly breaded fish patties
Meal 5- protein shake w/banana
Meal 6- Steak w/green beans
Meal 7- half of protein bar

Am I hogging too much or should I change something in there? Now I know I was 116 yesterday and could not have possibly gained 3 pounds of muscle overnight, but would like think so! LOL!

Got LowMax, shoulders and chest/back to do today.
What is everybody else doing?

You are up early this morning...well, atleast you are POSTING early this morning. I'm sure you are probably up cleaning at 5am every morning! :p

I don't know what's up with the weight gain unless TTOM is approaching? Sometimes I think our bodies just go kerflewie for a short time! LOL I gained a few MYSTERY pounds about a month back...they went away after about a week but it was very discouraging. BLECH! x( Anyway, I'm sure it's the same thing for you and it will go away on it's own, in it's own time!:)

My schedule calls for IMAX 3 in full today!:eek: Cathe must have been off her dang rocker when she wrote this rotation! LOL ;) This is the THIRD freakin' time in a week that she has us doin' an IMAX (or part of!)!!!:eek: :eek: :eek: I hope I survive....:p

Well son overslept this morning by the time I got back from dropping DD to school. Now I will have to drive him to school. Oh, well.

So your doing Cathe's rotation for Feb? I really don't know how anyone can do all those stepping moves. I have tried and tried and I get so confused with all those fast moves that I am always close to hurting myself..twisting ankles, etc., but good for you if you can do all that and have the moves down. I only have Imax 2. I think I tried the first 5 mins and that was enough. I get frustrated when I feel lost. LOL!

Hi Girls,

I am later getting on again today.Dh and I took the dogs out in the morning and then I told a friend I would come over for a coffee and a chat.And I am only just getting home.

I don't know what my workout will be today but it will be weights related.I still don't want to do it though:eek:

Charlotte- I know the scale can be a real pain. I know I have gained a couple of pounds but my BF% was down yesterday to 13.5% and I am usually 13.9% and I know its not muscle b/c I haven't been liftin g weights!:eek: Its hard not to fed into it though and get all depressed about it.

Wendy-Whats on the shake momma? How is the Jan rotation going in Feb? You are one mixed up girl!:) ;-)

DH and I went out for dinner last night and I had maple glazed salmon:9 veggies and a baked potatoe.The potatoe was so big that I didn't even eat 1/2 of it but I tried to eat as much of the salmon as I could but I just got to full.And of course we shared a piece of cheesecake (sorry missy).

Yesterday when I was running I was watching Cinderella man and even though I don't want to run today, I may have to and finish watching my movie.

I must go get some lunch ready.

Charlotte - check you out!! Posting first two days in a row. You go girl! First of all, I think you look great and shouldn't worry about a few pounds (but I know I would too, so I can't really talk). I'm one of those people whose weight RARELY fluctuates from day to day (like some people who gain water weight, etc.). I don't know if you're like that, but if you are then you really notice a few extra pounds. I've noticed though that if I have more carbs than usual, that can cause the scale to go up a bit. Since it's so close to Mexico (are you all tired of hearing that yet???), I've cut back a bit on my carbs. That always seems to help. I wouldn't do it long term, but short term it helps. I know that you lift heavy and frequently, so you definitely need lots of protien. How much cardio are you doing? If you're doing a lot, I would keep all the carbs. If not, you might want to cut back just a bit. The thing is, you're eating good carbs (oatmeal, light wheat - is it whole wheat or just wheat? if it's just wheat that's no good!). Although bananas are good for you b/c we need our fruit, they are a bit more fattening as far as fruit goes. You might want to put half a banana in your protien shake.

All that being said, I still think you look great and I wouldn't worry about those 3 pounds. You don't want to be too skinny. Hehehe.

Wendy - keep up the good work. I bet you'll have great results to tell us about at the end of this rotation! You've done so well since having Joey and you should be so proud of yourself!!! You're one hot momma! I like your new avatar too. :)

Lori- I can't believe you ate cheesecake! Yummy!!! We're going to the Macaroni Grill again tomorrow (we keep finding new people to go with us!) and you KNOW I'll be eating lots of bread. But it's cheat day again. So much for no more cheat days til Mexico. I talk big!

Oh, Charlotte - 119??? Thats ALL?? Lucky you. I'm at 127 usually. Sometimes I drop to 125. One time I hopped on the scale and was 133 :eek: and have no idea what was up with that, because clothese still fit fine. The next day I was back to the typical 127. Ignore the idiot scale. It doesn't know what it's talking about.

I rarely do any cardio, maybe that is the problem. Body fat is now at a high 14%. I had it down to 12%, but that didn't last long and hubby said I didn't look as good down that low anyhow. Yesterday I had more protein then carbs so I dunno. Maybe water or crap or both! LOL!

Anyhow, Cathe is calling for me. Gotta go. LOL!

Well ladies I am finished with low max and I opened up all the windows in my house! Gosh, I am hot!!!! WOO HOO! I am doing the coremaxes now, 1 and 2. After dinner I will do shoulders, chest and back. Getting hair trimmed too in a few hours. Last time I had it trimmed was in September. Oh, my!

Hallo Charlotte!:) I don't know how you break your workout up like that. I would never get it done.I can workout in the morning and again at night before I go to bed but once I am showered for the day, I can't workout again in the afternoon.
I just finished L&G which was deperately needed and I am going to do abs next so my legs can wake back up! Then I am thinking about doing the Interval run that Sarah posted.The only problem is my treadmill as a dial and not buttons so it may be harder to go up .1 at a time b/c it like to go .3-.4 at a time.I will try it anyway.
I just had my hair cut on Sat and I can not beleive the curl I am losing.I guess I am getting older but my hair use to be so curly once upon a time, now there are sections of it that are wavey.Plus, whenever I would get it cut, it would be even curlier and would take weeks for it to calm down.
Anyway...enough relaxing...must take my legs and go!:)

Hi ladies. Hope you all are having a lovely day.

All I've done today so far is make sauce for my lasagna dinner tomorrow night and list a few items for sale on Ebay. I wanted to work out but I have these gassy, bloated pains in my belly that get worse when I move so I think it best NOT to exercise right now! ;-) Hopefully I can get it done later. HOPEFULLY.

I am actually in the process of making the sauce...it's not done yet. I am trying something new and making it in my crock pot. I usually make it on the stove but I wanted to try it this way...less attention needs to be paid to it. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

I am supposed to go to the post office to ship an ebay item today but if I wait until tomorrow I may be able to ship a few things instead so I think I will wait...

Dh will not be home at all tonight except for 15 minutes to shower and change his clothes. He is starting a welding class for work tonight that runs for a few hours every friday and right after that he has bowling. I may be home all alone tonight ;( ;( ... I usually go to my mom's but she may not be around until later when it won't make sense to make the trip anymore.

Oh well...TTYL!:)

I don't really sweat much when lifting heavy so I have already showered after Low Max so I am ready to go for later. Well got to get my face on so I can get out of here.

I have only a few seconds before I pass out again, I am sick. ;( ;( ;( I spent all day on the couch yesterday, and now Layne is home sick today with the same thing I have, poor thing. I will catch up on the threads later. :)

Wendy- I hope your sauce turns out good.The worse thing about trying something new, is you never know it is going to turn out. Then you have to feed it to other people! hahaha:)

Charlotte- I guess it is so much work for me to get a shower again later is b/c when I get a shower I try to have my hair done for the day.This is not the kind of head you can just leave alone!:eek: I have to gel it and stuff! Ugh...drives me crazy sometimes,

Anyway, I am finished my workout.I think I did a 7 mile run.I finished watching my movie and all that fighting made me want to run faster:)

Just got back from getting my hair done. Boy, that was fast! The girl is the bomb that cuts my hair. Does a great job. Does DH's hair and son's too. DD has Rhonda cut hers. Well I got 30 mins until I get my kids so I got to get in some shoulder work. See ya. Great job on the run!!!! 7 friggin miles...that is awesome!!!

Well, the sauce is done and seems to have turned out fine. I tasted it and it's just as tastey as ever! :9 Great way to make sauce cause ya don't have to mess with it nearly as much! I messed with it only a couple of times to stir and add ingredients. When it's on the stove I am always checking it!

As it turns out though, the lasagna dinner may be postponed now but that's okay. With all of the sauce I made I have the fixins for many easy dinner nights for DH and I!:D

Off to attempt IMAX 3 finally...I hope the warm up perks me up or I may be stopping early or skipping some blasts!x(

Charlotte- The girl that cuts my hair is so gentle! I want to fall asleep everytime I go there! The pnly thing I don't like is that the salon is super small so there isn't much room.I also heard that they talk about people after they leave.I am not sure how much truth there is to that but just is case, I don't say much about anything and that way I don't give them much to talk about.
I calculated how much I ran in Jan and I did 117 miles.There was a calender that came with Jan's Oxygen mag, I pinned it up in the workout room and everytime I am finished working out, I will write it in. Plus I have a fitness model to stare at and that keeps me motivated.:) Once I get pass the 3rd mile I am o.k.Anytime before that I am thinking of reasons why I should get off:)

I am at work now and I think it will be a slow night.I have one flight soon, after that I have to run home with DD's game cube, then I may run to the bank and wal-mart if I have time:) That will make the night go by faster.I would like to pick up some cereal for tomorrow morning.Plus we need garbage bags and paper towels.

Anyway, I should be around most of the night if anyone wants to chat.

Lori, I would but my freezer is pretty full right now.

Well, my work out was not what it was supposed to be. I was actually getting psyched for IM3 but my knee was aching and during blast # 1 I knew I wasn't going to be able to do it so I shut it off. I popped in a new work out I just got....Patrick G's ABC work out and then did 150 crunches. It was okay but not nearly the intensity I was supposed to do. Hopefully tomorrow I can pick it back up!

My goodness you girls got busy after I left! Missy and Wendy - I hope you both feel better soon. Charlotte - FOURTEEN PERCENT - YOU PIG!!! I don't even know what mine is and I'm afraid to find out, but I know it's not even close to that low. I think you need to stop worrying. You are perfect the way you are.

Lori - you better not lose your curl. Who will I have to cry about curls with? I know what you mean too - once you fix your hair for the day, that's it. It's so dang time intensive.

All is quiet in this house again. DS is now down for the night and DH came in and left again like a whirlwind. :+

Tomorrow morning I have to pick up FIL at 9:15am about 10 mins down the road. He is getting a remote start put in his car down by us so he will be hangin' at our house while it gets installed. DH is working in the morning otherwise he would go pick him up. When we get back to the house I'm gonna drop him and Joey off and head off to Staples for some bubble wrap, then home to package a few things up for Ebay and then off to the post office for shipping.

Tomorrow night is still unknown...should be doing SOMETHING but it depends who shows.
