Good Morning Ladies,

Where are you Miss Wendy???:) Why couldn't you do this? I think you are having trouble getting the coffee cup away from your face!:)

I am at work now and I did NOT want to get up today.I was so lazy.I didn't get a workout in last night either so I have to make up for it tonight.I think as soon as I get home I will dig my heals in b/c if I don't it will not get done.I went out with DH last night up to his store and instead of doing that, I should have worked out.But he invited me to come along and I think that was one of his ways of trying to spend time with me.So after giving him a hard time I figured it was best if I chased him around town.

So whats everyone up to today? I have another tree to decorate and the rest of this place so once again, I am hoping that it will keep me busy today:) Then I get to sleep in a little later tomorrow morning.
I plan on running when I get home (a long run) and maybe MM but I don't want to puch my luck..so then run will come first and we will see what happens after that:)
Have a good day everyone...its mightly cold here.
Lori:)

Hey Lori.

Sorry, but I have only had ONE cup of coffee on too little sleep so I'm not fully awake yet!:p

Ended up doing CTX kickbox cardio but no arm drills, 30 mins of my own L&G mix and the upper body work from Body Max yesterday.

Today is cardio, lower body and abs but who knows EXACTLY what that means. :)

Off to refill the coffee cup!:9

Hello Wendy,

Why are you up so early??? Is joey up?? DH kicked you out of bed, didn't he?
Got a question for you (as if the above wasn't enough) where does your dog sleep in the night time?
Our dog is to big to sleep with us but when I come off of night shifts I will let him sleep with me when I go home...which means the other one as to come up to.And b/c I was working a night shift, DH probably lets them sleep with him alnight as well. Anyway...they drive me crazy now.Every night when we get in bed, all they do is circle the bed and whimper to get up.I can't call in whining.I said to DH last night that we have to stop letting them sleep on the bed with us period.I think I need to buy them new beds and maybe they will be happy.
You had a good workout yesterday...better then mine anyway.
My coffee is all gone and I don't feel the effects of it yet.I think I will have a bowl of oatmeal soon.
Lori:)

While Clyde was a pup we NEVER let him on the bed at all. Now that he is an adult he is allowed. He sleeps with us on the bed some nights and other nights he actually CHOOSES to sleep on the floor next to the bed (wierd dog, I know! LOL) but he is ALWAYS in the room with us. We leave the door wide open but he never leaves. He is always up on the bed with us for the first 15 minutes or so though to snuggle. :+

You guys are making me want another doggie!!! ;( I had a Rottweiler that used to sleep with me when I was kid. Can you just see it?... a preteen and a 125# bear squeezed into a twin size. It was so lovely! My mom hated it, so she would take him out after I fell asleep, but he would always find a way back into the house and cuddle with me again. I miss that dog, I loved him so much! Dan wants us to get a fence before we get another dog, though, and I understand that completely. The only thing is... I don't want to fence my yard! We will figure something out.

So, Lori, another tree... How many trees do you have at work? I think it is great that you went with DH instead of working out, I definitely think that was the right thing. You can always work out later, and you need to spend as much time with DH as possible. Just curious, what did you get for Jayna? For Mariah: alarm clock CD player, 2 Hilary Duff CDs, panda Furrr Real, a robe and The Secret Garden. For Layne: build-a-light saber kit (it is totally cool!!!), 4 Star Wars figures that include Darth, Yoda, Obi Wan and the kid who died protecting Bail Organa in the Sith movie, Star Wars jammies and undies, and the complete Star Wars Dictionary. All he wanted was Star Wars stuff:). For Logan: basketball set, 3 Barney DVDs and 2 Barney books. He is so easy to shope for! :) And I am not telling what I got Dan because I am afraid that he is going to read this. :p

Charlotte, are you joining us today, macho lady? ;)

Michele, where are you at darlin'? Antique shopping? You really do have the most wonderful taste. You have beautiful pieces. How is the husband? What does he do, I remember you said something about pediatrics, I think. Do you miss nursing?

Wendy, when Mariah was just a baby, we hardly bought her anything. She was the first grandkid on my side of the family so she had EVERYTHING!!! There was nothing left for us to get her, so we just squooshed and loved on her! :) You know, I really do not like the arm drills on CTXK. I like the kicking drills, they rock, but the arm drills x( . My HR just plummets.

I have my sister over today and we are going to do an upper body workout, and then I am going to try her pilates. I did SB this morning, combos only. My legs are FRIED from yesterday! I did SF combo 1 in the morning and then BC cardio+lower and ME lower in the afternoon. OUCH!!! All those leg presses. I looked very funny this morning doing SB! :p

Anyhoo, I talk too much! I guess I should let someone else have a turn! :+

Howdy darlins'

LOL!

Hello again!

I'm back and breakfasted and ready to dig into the day. I plan on doing a new w/o today that just came in the mail yesterday. Someone posted about it a few days ago--it's put out by Prevention. I can't recall the title but it's another one of those walk at home things that I've become fond of. I'm going to try to finish my Christmas decorating today.

We used to have 2 longhaired dachshunds and they both slept with us. They've passed on now and I miss them terribly. I don't plan to get another doggie just yet because we're gone so much and I hate having to board my animals. My kitty is much easier to care for.

Missy, I know what you mean about fences. I had no choice but to fence in my yard because I needed to be able to just open the door and let the dogs out. You can't trust a weiner dog to stay put so I had to instsall a fence. There are some really beautiful fences these days. I have a cedar picket fence and it looks fab with my cedar house. I was the first one in the neighborhood to put up a fence and after I did, everybody and their brother put one up. People would ring my doorbell just to ask who installed my fence. Anyway, several people in the neighborhood fenced in small areas for their dogs right outside their back doors and I thought it looked great.

Thanks for the compliment, Missy! I think I'm done antique shopping for the year--LOL! I have several pieces I'd like to put up in my picture trail but I need to get a d@%& camera!! My insurance company told me to photograph everything so I really need to do that.---DH is a pediatric neurologist and very, very busy--UGH! If I may brag for just a moment...I'm so proud of him. He made the "Best Doctor's in America" list again for about the 6th or 7th year in a row. It's quite an honor because you're voted on by your peers. There's so much I would like to say about him and what he does. He's a good man--a good person. Anyway, I know I can get a little defensive when people bad mouth doctors. I wish everyone could spend just one day with my DH or any one of the 17 docs in his group. I think they might have a change of heart! I could NEVER work in pediatrics. I can't handle it and God bless those who can!

Wendy--have you bid on that tree yet? I want you to get that so bad!

OMG but I do run on. I better stop this looooong post NOW--LOL!

Michele

Hi Girlies,

How is everyones morning go'in? Its lunch time here and I don't know what to have:eek: I have the other tree 1/2 up and I need more lights but I don't know if my boss will approve:) I think I whined about the company visa yesterday with his name on it...well...if I need more lights then I will have to go downtown with my own bankcard and get reimbursed. Its just hard to decorate here b/c the stuff that is here is getting old and tacky.;( Whats a girl to do??????????

Missy- There are two trees here. One huge one and one I thought wasn't very big till I took it out.Its 6 feet tall and I only have 100 lights to go on it.
What do I have for Jayna? Gameboy DS and 2 games (her big gift)3 dvds,phone for her room,board game,pogo stick,2 pairs of jeans,2 sweaters,pjs,robe,dogs (with batteries)1 shirt,(gotta get her sneakers)...oh I can't remember.
Have fun working out with your sister today.

Michele- Where are the pic's of you? Aren't you gonna show yourself off!!!!:)
Lori:)

Hey Lori,

I just realized I didn't greet you in my post!! Awww, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to neglect you--LOL!

I think it's very nice that you went along with your DH last night. I'm sure he really appreciated it. I went to a funeral yesterday on behalf of my DH because he didn't have anyone to cover for him at work--UGH. I think it really meant a lot to him that I went. I had met the deceased and his family before but I really didn't know them very well so I felt a little awkward about going, but once I got there everything was okay. I ended up felling glad that I went.

I have to finish my decorating too. I wish I had the talen for it that other's have.

I posted a reply on your new thread:)

Michele

Hi Michele,

Im glad everyone thinks I made the right call:) My pants aren't any tighter today for it hahahaha
Funerals suck the energy out of me.I know no one likes them and add me to the list.I don't bother going when DH's relatives die for the same reason.None of them live here and I don't know them.So I won't take a day off of work to go b/c I won't get paid for it.It is ackward when you do not know who they are talking about and DH is not that close to his side of the family either. They are a little different. Not all of them but most.Drinkers and into drugs

Hey Michele,

The tree has a angel with broken wings on it. I only found that out b/c someone else asked and the seller posted the Q&A on the auction. I think the seller should have stated that outright but she did not. I'm glad I didn't bid not knowing that. Had I won, I would have been P/O'd especially if I maxxed my bid at more then like 20 bucks! Thanks for finding it though! I'll keep looking! :)

I can't believe it!!! It's incredible to me that she didn't reveal the true condition--that really sucks big time! Maybe someone will list another one!:p

'Tis the problem with Ebay...I like it and have never had a problem so far but you just don't know how honest the sellers are being! Ya know?

Oh well...My video didn't sell. x( I am going to list some DVD's soon and see how they do...

Off to do Power Max!

TTFN!:+

Michele, wow! That is an honor for you DH! That must make him feel so great! It takes a VERY strong person to be able to work with children. My sister is a nurse in the NICU and she is awesome at it. She loves the babies, and it is very hard at times. But she feels like the worst part of all is the parents. She had this one man come in with his very pregnant wife to visit he and his girlfriend's baby. Ugh. And because it is NICU, many of the babies are born addicted to crack/cocaine or with FAS and get to go home with their mom's who only come in when the social worker is in. She has had two in the past year who have gone home perfectly healthy only to die a couple of weeks later from suffocation or neglect. It is so sad. The one thing that you can say about it is that those babies and children are going to a father who loves them more than we could imagine and where they will feel not pain but a constant joy. They get to go straight to heaven.:)

Wendy, I am so sorry about that angel. Why wouldn't it be listed with broken wings? At least you found out before you paid for it! I would have been SOSOSOSO mad! You remember that one guy that we were talking about here a while ago who was selling copied Cathe DVDs? Grrrrrrrrrr! http://www.smileys.ws/smls/angry/00000037.gif

Lori, I don't like funerals much either. It is so hard because there really is nothing that you can say to help or make better.
Did you figure out what to eat for lunch? I had leftover tofu lasagna and it was DELICIOUS!!! I never thought I would say that about tofu, but it is true! Even my finicky daughter loved it! Layne asked me to save some for him so that he could eat some for lunch today, so I did. :9 It was yummy! I will have to find some other tofu recipes that are as good as this one. Anyone have any that they can share?

Well, I did MM upper body and my back is feeling it! It is so hard for me to fatigue my back because my forearms usually go out first, but those pullovers really rock! I feel strong! :)

Missy

Anyone still awake? Of course you are! Its only early where you live!:) Its almost 11 here and I am happy to say I got my run in but that was it.The phone rang and I got chatting for a while so instead of going back into the workout room, the shower was calling my name:)

Missy- I didn't get to eat until 3 and it was oatmeal with a banana. My eating as been a bit off the last two days b/c DH is working and when I get home there is no dinner ready for either of us.So I ended up having a pancake yesterday for dinner. They haven't been very well planned out but by the time I get home I just want to poke something in my face!
I feel better now that I got my body moving.I can't imagine people that dont workout. Can you imagine getting home after sitting at a desk all day and then sitting down in front of the t.v? Not the kind of life this kid wants to live.
Lori:)

Girl, you are going to have to start carrying around some food with you so that your body doesn't start thinking that you are trying to starve it! I know what it is to be too busy to eat, though. Not fun or pretty! And I cannot imagine plopping down and stuffing my face in front of the tv, anyways. I can do it in front the computer, though! :p But my hands are tied up typing, so by the time I am done I am not hungry anymore. :)

I am going to go to bed, I am so tired! The kids and I read two chapters from LW & W from Chronicles of Narnie. They love that story almost as much as I do! We are up to chapter four now. We are reading it all before we see the movie over Christmas break. Dan has the whole week off, so we are planning on a lot of fun family time. :)

good night everyone!

Missy

YIKES! It's midnight and I'm just about to head to bed now. I was wanting to hit the hay earlier but Joey wasn't letting THAT happen! :-( It's been quiet up in his room for about an hour now so I guess it's finally safe for mamma to go to bed now. AHHHHH. :)

Talk to all of you lovlies in the a.m.!:+

Nighty-night!:*
