Good Morning Sleeping Beauties:)
Now who is asleep and who is awake????:p Just getting ready to go home from my night shift.I think when I get up today will be a free day to do nothing other then workout.BUT our business partners wife was suppose to work at the store tonight but she had to go away with her grandmother so I am going to see who is covering her shift. They may be stuck.I was going to go home and help my mom put up her tree but that may have to wait for another day.Plus,I have to pay bills today:-(
Anyway, have fun chatting and sipping on coffee while I am sleeping.I would rather be starting my day but I need to catch up on a little sleep first.
Lori:)

Hi girls!!

Lori, I hope you get some good rest. My goodness, it sounds like you're going to need it!!

I'm out of here today. I'm getting my hair cut and colored, then lunch with my friend, then grocery shopping, then.....you get the picture. I want to thank you all again for your prayers for my sister. Please say one that her DH will get help. He's been resistant to that but he needs it BAAAAAAAD!!

No w/o today but I'll be doing a TON of running around. I hope you all have a great day and a great w/o:)

Michele

Hello Ladies!

Yes, Lori, I slept in a bit today! I slept until 8am and it felt GOOD! :p Have a good sleep and we'll chat when you wake up I am sure!

Hi Michele, sounds like you have a busy day ahead but sometimes that is a GOOD thing. Too many days of "NOTHING" can really mess with a person. They make me lethargic and kinda stir-crazy. I wouldn't want to be crazy every day but I crave the super-busy mode once in a while, ya know? And to top it off, you are even going to be doing FUN things....hair cut/color to make you look even more beautiful than I'm sure you already are AND lunch with a good friend! Happy Friday! Have fun! :)

Hello Missy if you are around! What's on your agenda for the day? What work out will you be doing (if it's not a rest day)?
Tell us what a day in the life of Missy is like...seriously-what's it like once you have WALKING/TALKING kids...and more than one to boot? Maybe you'll talk me right out of having # 2! LOL ;)

Good morning fit ladies! How is everyone this morning? Yesterday I felt like I was going to get sick, so I went to bed very early last night, like 8:30 or something, and didn't get up until 7 so I am feeling MUCH better!:D My throat feels a little cruddy, but I am much much better, hurray!

Michele, have fun running around today! Take pictures of your hair for us! :+

Lori, get all the rest you need. You have been very busy and there is a lot going on right now, so you need and deserve it!

Wendy, you really want to know a life in the day of me? Well, since you asked for it: get up, get the kids going, make breakfast, see the kids off, clean up kitchen, start laundry, in the mornings I can either grociery shop or go to the park with Logan or clean the bathrooms; whatever needs to be done that didn't get done in Saturday morning chores, bills, story time with Logan, clean up time for Logan, lunch, clean up again, put Logan down, workout (if i didn't get up early enough), finish laundry while talking on phone, get dinner started, see kids home, check kids homework or help them if needed, serve dinner, do evening chores with kids, read a chapter out of a book with them, help Mariah study for her multiplication table test (she has one each day on a different number group) and then finish laundry if I have any left. Phew! I didn't realize that I did so much!

It is great having older kids, especially since they are out of the constantly having to discipline and teach stage between the ages of 18mo and 4; once they learn to obey, respect, be responsible and have a moral character it is easy (but I don't have teenagers yet, so ask me again in a few years). I love having conversations with them and talking about their day, what they learned. Right now, I am teaching Mariah how to cook and do her own laundry, and it is sad because I am teaching her to be more and more independent! :( I love to see how they problem solve and work out problems with friends. I HATE that they fight, but it is fun to see them squirm when I make them hold hands and tell each other how much they love the other, and then top it off with a kiss :+ ! They have the most tender and sweet moments, too. Once Layne got hurt at school and when Mariah heard about it, she dashed out of her class and wouldn't leave his side until she knew he was okay. :D I honestly would have a hundred if I didn't have to be pregnant, I love being a mom. I am a bit selfish, though, and demand at least one evening to myself ALONE per week. I wish that I could talk you out of having more, but I can't! sorry! :p Are you and DH contemplating another one? BTW, how was his bowling last night? Does he do it often? I am full of questions today, aren't I??? :p

Missy

YIKES Missy! You are a busy one! :)

Yes, DH bowls often. He's on 2 leagues during the fall/winter season and one during the summer plus he will sub for others on leagues on occassion and during the summer he and I go open bowling one a week for fun and practice for him. Bowling is his one hobby. I equate it with my work outs. He spends about the same amount of time on bowling as I do working out so it's all good. In addition, when he is home at night if I need him to watch Joey for me while I exercise b/c I didn't get it in during the day, he is more than willing. I find this to be quite fair since I am watching Joey alone every night that he goes out to bowl!

You didn't enjoy pregnancy? I loved being pregnant...for the most part anyway...The body aches were not fun along a few other things but being pregnant was such a wonderful experience for me overall! Now if I could skip labor and delivery, I'd be golden!;)

Joey is down for his nap so I need to get busy!

I'll be back!:)

HI Gals,
I am up and getting ready to workout.Today is just going to be a run and abs.I have decided to go to my mothers when my DD gets home from school.I wanted to help her decorate her tree b/c every year she ask and every year I am to busy.SO it was my idea to go out and help her. That adds a hour of driving unto my day.Oh well!:)

Michele- You ahve to post some pic's of yourself when you get your hair done.Your like miss snufalufagus (sp?) Sounds like you have a good day planned!

Missy- Im right there with you.I hated being pregnate.I was to sick to move! I have no problems keeping weight off when I was pregante.i was sick for 5 m.Hated it! Your life is super busy, but I didn't expect anything different. I watched a show last night called crash test mommy.Have you ever seen it?Basically it friends and family you can't understand how a stay at home mom can't keep everything together.Last night it was about a DH you couldn't understand why the laundry was never done when he got home.He may sound like he was being an idiot but he was a nice guy.So she went away for 48 hours and left him home with 2 kids.Plus he had to pick up his other daugther.Lets just say he didn't hold everything together as well as his wife did.I fell asleep before the end but I am sure he apologized.

Miss Wendy- What are you doing today? Got any plans? What to come to my moms house with me? You can being Joey, she loves kids:)

Must go workout.Time is running short!
Lori:)

Hello again everybody,

I'm sorry, I don't have time to read all the posts. My friend is running a little late so I took the opportunity to run home and FIX my hair--LOL! You know how it is--my stylist gives me a great cut but she can't style my hair to save herself. I always have to come home and re-do it! Gotta run. Take care everybody and maybe I'll be back posting later today.

Michele

Hi gals.

Just finished my work out and now I am shoving food in my pie hole!

I did about 30 minutes of Step Jam, BC upper body work only, PLB stability ball work and cardio hits ab work. PHEW! GREAT total body burner! }( I'm glad I thought of it!:p I was disappointed that the cardio did not last longer. I truly wanted to do ALL of Step Jam but I was starting to not feel so hot so I figured my body was telling me to cut it short and so I did! I was fine doing the rest of the work out so that's good!:)

Off to find more food! I feel like I haven't eaten in a week!}(

Hey again!!!

Lori, that show sounds really interesting! YOu know, DH stayed home with the kids once when they were only 4 and 2 because I had a migraine. I didn't hear anything because I slept through the whole thing but in the morning he said he didn't know how I did it, and he would rather go to work and listen to people complain than stay home with the kids ANY DAY. Not that they are bad, just that, you know, it is FREAKING HARD!

Wendy, that sounds like an awesome workout. I just did Imax 3 intervals 1-8 and tacked on CW abs. I feel good. Whenever I am not feeling well, like I am bout to or have just been sick, w/o always makes me feel better and get better quicker. I love cardio! So, Wendy, when are you and DH going to start trying for another one? ;) That is the most fun part. I hate being pregnant because I am forgetful and mean. Really mean. I hate it. I will yell at someone, usually kids and DH, and then cry because I feel bad. I missed my best friend's birthday party, which I helped put together, because pregnancy makes me so forgetful. It takes almost a year of my life that I can't get back and I am so afraid that it will do irreversable damage to my kids and husband. I sleep constantly. I don love feeling movement, though. That is amazing!

Michele, did you take a picture before you "fixed" it? :p

I WANT CHOCOLATE!!!!

Missy

HI Girls,

I am at my mothers house, safe and sound.I don't appear to be in a very good mood though.I drove out here with no windshelid wash in the jeep so it was getting all dirty. And when I got here my aunt already had the tree decorated. My mother is stressing me out b/c the dog is running around her house ( we weren't aloud to have pets inside when growing up) she making more noise then the dog, then I ate supper with my ball hat on and she complained about that, and then I also had a beer logal on my shirt and she started in about that.Talk about pick on me.I should have stayed where I was.It is pretty boring here though. No one does anything around here.Just sit and wait to go to bed, I guess. Now my uncle is upstairs playing piano and the kids won;t leave me alone. I think I should have exercised for longer today! blah, blah, blah!

Anyway, she as dial up so I should ger off of the computer before she starts in on me there.
Lori:)

YIKES Lori! Sounds like your visit with your mom wasn't fun, huh? lol

I went to Costco and food shopping after DH got home from work and showered. I was able to leave Joey home which always makes shopping easier. By the time I got back it was 7 and I was starving so I had cereal for dinner. Then I had some l/f cottage cheese on crackers a little later and just now I had 4 cookies! OMG! What have I done!? }( :p :p :p

In between the eating...lol...I managed to finish decorating for Christmas and put the pics up on my picture trail. They are now the first bunch in the Holidays album if you want to take a peek.

It's pretty late so I doubt anyone is around now actually...I'm probably talking to myself! LOL

Buh-Bye people!:)
