Okay - did I miss something? Are we ending this thread? Did you all secretly talk about it and forget to tell me? Did I miss it - is it somewhere else?
Okay, I'll pretend like I am actually the first one here. Did you see where I mentioned Amber, our sweet pit bull, was called in an emergency to donate blood yesterday (she's has a universal blood type so they LOVE her)? Well, I think they took too much. She was sooooo out of it. She could hardly stand up and she kept crying like I've never heard her do before. It was so sad. And she was up ALL NIGHT, which means I was up all night.
Needless to say, I'm tired here at work and she's home sleeping.
She was so much better this morning. She has to go in tomorrow for a blood test just to check her levels on everything - they like to do this yearly. I'm gonna talk to them about her reaction this time. DH said he doesn't want her donating if she's going to react like that. She did save the life of a Pug though. She's our little hero.
Last night I did my lower body workout with heavy weights. So today, since I did my hill workout yesterday morning on the bike, I just did 45 minutes of spinning on the bike with a moderate heart rate. I must rest my legs for my Saturday ride with my fast girlfriends. Otherwise they'll kill me! They'll probably kill me anyway, but it won't hurt so bad! One of them used to race, one of them is just plain speedy and then the other one and I are about the same. It should be a great workout. Later that day I think I'll go for an easier ride with my sister since she just got her new road bike and will pick it up Saturday. Yay!!! I should get in about 35 or 40 miles on Saturday, but the last 10 or so won't be that hard.
Alright- I'm finished blabbing TO MYSELF! :7 I guess I should get back to work. Our summer camp brochures just went out and I'm sure we'll be getting lots and lots of calls (fingers crossed!).
