Modifications for stability ball?

Hi Cathe -

I am a weight lifter and am new to your workouts. I am interested in Kick Max, the Gym Style Series, Muscle Max, and Slow & Heavy. I actually don't have a step and I do know how to modify some of the moves but I'm not sure about the stability ball section in Gym Style - Legs. Do you think if I were to change some of the exercises or mimic them without the ball it would ruin the effectiveness? I apologize for the question; I'm just interested in finding super intense workouts and yours look like they'd fit the bill. :)

Hi Kris! I honestly do think that for the selected exercises in this workout, having the ball would be the best way to go (especially since you mentioned that you don't have a step which is what I was going to suggest to use for some of the modifications).

I don't know if you have ever used a ball before, but if not, you will not be disappointed in the core development (not to mention many other benefits) you will receive. It is an excellent addition to any weight lifters home gym. They are also very reasonably priced and easily available in sporting good stores. I certainly am not trying to push one on you. I just really think you would enjoy the benefits of one. Take Care!
