Cathlete
Morning all!

Yesterday was okay for me. I ate too much, but it was pretty much all healthy.

Today:

B - steel cut oats with banana and soy milk
S - 1 piece toast with pb, apple
L - leftover veggie shepherd's pie, lf yogurt, orange
S - cottage cheese and pineapple
D - tuna wrap and veggies

Not sure if I'll get a chance to work out, but if I do, it will be some form of cardio.

Good morning Shelley.

Monday and Tuesday were really off, I chose all the wrong things and ate way too much of it.

Yesterday was good.

Today -

Br - cinn. Irish oatmeal, 1 egg, 1 WW English muffin, coffee
Sn - sweet potato protein shake
Ln - butternut squash soup, 1 pc WW toast, roasted red pepper hummus
Sn - protein bar - will be out and about
Dn - California crab wrap, lg salad with light vinegarette.

Good morning ladies. Yesterday was good until DH decided we were ordering subs for dinner. My son and I split one so I guess it wasn't too bad. We didn't get any oil or mayo on it.

B: Oatmeal, 1/2 c. strawberries, coffee
S: 1/2 c ff cottage cheese, baby carrots and green pepper strips
L: 1 c. fettucine florentine noodles, 1/4 sauce and steamed fresh veggies (snow peas, green peppers, mushroom and onions)
S: popcorn, apple
D: 3 oz of ham, baked sweet potato, 1/2 c. baked beans

Have a healthy day all!

Greetings healthy Ladies

The posted menus are nicely planned. :)

Last night I made whole wheat pizza from Wolfgang Puck's recipe for the crust. It was tasty. The recipe called for dividing the dough into quarters and making 4 individual pizzas. I only ate half of mine.

Today's family dinner is sweet potato baked fries, and split pea soup and salad. I will omit the fries and have an extra large salad.

I did better yesterday than I have in a long time. Not perfect, but better.

B - fresh fruit salad, toasted oatmeal bread w/ PB&J
L - turkey wrap,carrots,orange
D - today is grocery day, so whatever fish looks good
S - handful pretzels, fruit

Probably won't get a workout done today, between groceries and my lingering sore throat. Have a wonderful Friday Eve.

Hello, everyone -

The plan to eat up all my grapes before they go bad isn't working out. I honestly think I got a sugar overdose yesterday, trying to meet my quota! I just felt bad all afternoon. Maybe I'll give some to my parents down the road.

Today:
B - steel cut oats with walnuts, banana, soy milk
L - large salad, fruit
D - Roasted potatoes, carrots and broccoli... I think. Spinach salad.
Snacks - not grapes. Anything but grapes. Right now I'd rather fall off the wagon and eat chocolate fudge cake instead of grapes. Fortunately I don't have any of that around.

Hi girls...

B= egg, ww toast, banana bread, tea.
S= Pear with peanut butter
L= All veg. salad today
D= Not sure, still deciding

Good Morning Ladies:

I am happy that I have been weighing in around 119 and staying there! Even though my Cathe workouts have been erratic because of my back problems, they sure are effective. I just walk when I can't do anything else and Cathe when I can.

Yesterday was good. The only exception I remember was a few mini rice cakes and one little chocolate egg.

Today is:

B - Oatmeal with flax seed, lo fat milk
L - tuna sandwich on WW, pear, carrots
S - orange, protein bar
D- Turkey sausage, vegies

I did lo max today w/o the "blasts" and my back didn't protest. Now I remember why I am trying so hard to get back to Cathe workouts. They're fun! Challenging coreography, but I guess that's what makes it fun. I will also walk 2 miles at lunch.

Have a great day Everyone.

Good morning everyone!
Yesterday was a great day, but sooooo stressful for me. We closed on our first house and all I can say is closing on a house while trying to entertain a 4 month old can be a little crazy!
Did good for the most part until I got so hungry last night and ate the darn pizza. I tried to be as good as possible ordered a thin crust with lots of veggies and light on the cheese, but ate 3 pieces of it and did not get to workout =( Oh well, back on the wagon today!

B- Oatmeal w/banana and skim milk
S- Protein Shake
L- Tuna sand with small salad
S- Cottage cheese and pineapple
D- Chicken w/veggies and brown rice

Today's workout will consist of KM with blasts and PUB.

Have a super day everyone!

Meal 1 - 3/4c oatmeal, 2 doritos, handful of peanuts
Meal 2 - egg salad sandwich on lite wheat and yogurt
Meal 3 - sloppy joe on lite wheat bun and salad
Meal 4 - protein shake
Meal 5 - I have no idea
Meal 6 - pm protein shake?

Charlotte~~

Hi ladies!

I need to get on track with my eating. Joining a workout check-in many years ago helped me be consistent with exercise. Maybe this will help the nutrition end of things? I've tried a couple of other places in the past, but I wasn't challenged enough. You all look like a challenging group. You eat way less than me, that is for sure.

I put on 5 lbs. a few months ago. It is 5 lbs. I've dealt with before and thought maybe I'd just keep them (especially since I have a little bit of boob now). But this week, I'm up another lb. and my measurements are up as well.

Do you plan each day ahead of time? It looks that way.

Mind if I join?

And what is a sweet potato shake?

Andrea

Welcome, Andrea!

I am awful at planning meals ahead of time. I try my best, especially for dinner. But to be honest, sometimes I don't even think about it until I post here. Then I make something up, which does help. I'm forced to think of the healthy things I have in my fridge, and I usually stick to the plan when dinner rolls around.

I have no idea about the sweet potato shake.

Good luck!

Here is a copy and paste form a post by Jane/ Luvtorun for Sweet potato protein smoothie:

" I take about a cup of mash sweet potato (frozen), 1 cup of skim milk (you can use soy if you prefer), one scoop of vanilla protein powder. The frozen sw. pot gives this the most creamy texture. You can use cinnamon in it if you prefer but I like mine without, it reminds me of a sweet potato pie."
