Moderately clean eating 4-19 Wed.

I'm pretty sure it's 4-19... I lose track when I'm not at work. Last night didn't go quite as planned - ate dinner at Mom's to be with Grandma again. Had a big gooey meatless lasagna - I understand the recipe includes heavy whipping cream... oh my.

Today:
B - steel cut oats w walnuts, banana, soy milk
L - bean salad, grapes
D - don't exactly know. A friend with two little girls is coming out and may stay... if so, will have to cater more to the kids. If they don't stay, I'll probably have a big salad

Snacks - I've been skipping them, since I've been outside playing instead of sitting at a desk all day - just don't think about food when I'm playing, you know?
 
sounds like a nice plan Shannon! What is your job? I am a teacher and I know summer break = trouble for me, because when I'm not on a schedule , I tend to eat MORE!! its so weird.

anywho, yesterday so did NOT go as planned. Let's say it involved alot of reese's mini peanut butter cups and an ice cream sandwich. But its over, so onto the next day.

today I had a coffee, 2 oatmeal raison cookies (small) and an english muffin with lf cream cheese.

lunch: chicken breast (i grilled last night, with balsamic vinegar and garlic, and oregano. yuuuuuuuuuuumy) with grilled veggies, an apple, prob .5 cup macaroni

dinner: who knows.... maybe turkey burgers, or a salad or something.


My goal today is to let myself get pretty hungry for each meal and do not snack. Snacking is where I get myself into trouble!!

Yesterday went pretty well for me thank goodness as it will take a few weeks of goodness to undo the last two weekends of "badness"!

Today's plan is:

B: mixed cereal w/lofat milk
S: baby carrots
L: Subway turkey sandwich/ apple
S: Protein bar
D: Don't know yet....whatever hubby cooks for us.

I ran intervals this morning about 3 miles. I feel so good and I am so grateful when I can workout! Tonight I plan to do Muscle Max.

Hello Everyone,

I haven't been posting due to increase in workload now that construction season has begun. I do still try to read the boards a little bit everyday.

I was just reading in a some health magazine that women who undereat will tend to have more body fat despite being thin. That would explain the cellulite on my butt! This is something I am trying to work on...eating more, but I just am not hungry and being busy I just don't stop and eat but I need to make myself. I am going to try adding in a protein shake midmorning. If I could put it in hot tea I'd be in hog heaven.

I too have eaten too much Easter chocolate so have to stay away from that now.

B= shredded Wheat cereal, tea.
S=smoothie
L=Salad with hard cooked egg
S=raw vegetables, almonds
D= not planned yet
 
I wish I had to try to make myself eat. Not that I am belittling that problem. I just don't understand it, since I can and do eat for any reason at any time. Last night was, again, not so good. Try, try again:

B - fruit salad, go lean cereal w/soy milk
L - salad, orange
D - uh oh, meeting DH at Long John Silver's before church
S - banana
