Hi Judy:
Yesterday went well, thank goodness and the weekend wasn't great.
Hopefully I am back on track.

Today will be like this (or close)
B- oatmeal & slice lo carb bread with a little pb
S- cottage cheese
L- Salad & a chicken breast
S- apple, rice cake with almond butter
D grilled chicken & steamed vegies

I did about 40 minutes of pilates and will walk at lunch for about 45 minutes (2.5 miles or so) My exercise has been very iffy lately and I just work out according to how I feel that day (till my back gets stronger) I bought a program with some specific stretches for different back problems. It says it helps you to correct muscle imbalances that are causeing things to "shift" so to speak.
Hopefully this will help so I can get back to a "full Cathe" routine!
Hope you all have a great day.
Paula

Hey everyone!

I've been sick for two days with some kind of stomach ailment, so I haven't been eating much. Yesterday I had some toast and that was about it. Today so far I've had some toast and a yogurt. I'm not sure what the rest of the day will bring.

Take care!

Hi -
Judy, that's okay! Thanks for the note though. I'm really at a crossroads about my eating, and I'm not sure what to do. Ethically, I feel compelled to go vegan. Fitness-wise, I'd love to look cut like Sara's pics! Emotionally, I'm just not sure I'm ready to give up certain foods. Sigh. Ah well. Here we go for today:

B - PB on ww bread; yogurt
S - Banana
L - Cottage cheese, bell pepper. I'll probably need something else but don't know what. Maybe more fruit.
S - Don't plan to have one. I'm trying to stop the snacking thing. Ouch.
D - Brown rice - blackeyed peas - tomato thing. With cheese. With bread. Obviously not vegan or completely clean yet!

Hi ladies.

B: oatmeal, lite english muffin, ff ham
L: turkey burger on lite roll, leftovers from last night (1/2 c roasted red potatoes, green beans and sauteed squash)
D: horseradish turkey meatloaf, 1/2c. mashed potatoes (made with skim milk and lite butter) and more left over veggies (green beans and squash)
S: high fiber cereal mixed w/ff vanilla yogurt

I don't think that I"m going to get in a work out today. I only got 2 hours of sleep last night and I am dead tired. Gannon is sick, I'm home from work. He has a dr appt today at 1:00 - I think he has RSV.

Hi girls:)

Sorry to hear you are sick, Shelley. Get well soon. I have another child sick this week with the bronchitis crud. The doc tested her for both strep and mono but both neg. so that's good. She just has to suffer through it like the rest of us have. ;(

Shannon...just take life one day at a time. Eat what you are in the mood for (and what's in the cupboard!) and the rest will fall into place for you.

B=ww toast with butter, again, tea. I have not had any appetite for breakfast lately and I need to quit that.
S=will be a smoothie since DD is home sick...she is a smoothie addict.
L= salad loaded with vegetables and leftover grilled chicken breast on salad.
D=don't know yet!

I do know I'm sick of birthday cake. I am not a cake eater to begin with. Would much prefer cheese cake to the regular type cake. But you know with kids, you have to be excited about that birthday cake! I do make a cheesecake or molten lava cakes for my own birthday and they all eat it or go without! I just got a new recipe for lemon cakes that sounds very similar to the molten lava cakes...only lemon. That would be a glimpse of heaven to me.:9 :9

Oh Dana I hope it isn't RSV, yikes! Does he have the rattle in his breathing? I feel for you, one of my kids had that when she was 2 and it was very scary.

Ladies,
Yesterday I posted a thread asking for "buddies" to try clean eating together. Fortunately, I was invited to join this thread. So here I am. I am new to this clean eating and am not even sure it is "clean". But I have been trying my best for the last two weeks. I try to work out every morning, but am not always successful as a I have a family, work, and am in grad school. I have two Cathe videos (IMAX and MIS) and mix them in with running. I thoroughly love running more than weights! I have already started to see results with Cathe and feel lucky to have found her and this site. I definetely think that with eating better I'll see better results by this summer.

This morning I did IMAX warm up and leg workout; abs.

So here goes my first "moderately eating" post:

B: Kashi, Fiber One mix with 2% milk, coffee
S: Apple
L: Turkey wrap with loads of lettuce, slice of American Cheese
S: WW toast with PB, honey
D: Chicken, Veggie Stir Fry with curry sauce
S: Green Tea

Thanks for the invite fortysomething!

Hi Sugar:) ...good to see you joining in here.

It's funny how many of us mix Fiber One into something else. My favorite is Fiber One with Raisin Bran cereal. I absolutely cannot eat Fiber One on it's own, ugh.

I did CTX Power Circuit today...and after I started realized I had done it yesterday too...oops. So, I've now done legs two days in a row so will be interesting to see if I'm sore tomorrow. I had skipped the back work yesterday because I didn't have time for it so when I realized I had started the wrong workout, just kept going with it so I would get backwork in today. I don't like to skip the back workouts if I can help it at all. And Power Circuit is one of my favorites anyway. Could do it everyday, really. :)
