I have a question. Where the HECK did January go?

Yesterday wasn't great. I'm still a bit stuck in my binge cycle. I'm hoping today will be better because I'll be at work with only access to the food I bring myself.

B - mixed cereal, banana, soy milk
S - apple, almonds
L - greens with diced cheese, beans and diced pear, high fibre pita, lf yogurt
S - steel cut oats with cinnamon and raisins
D - egg whites and baked sweet potato

Workout today is a 6 mile run, back and core.

Edited to change lunch and afternoon snack a bit.

Jan. went the way of all things.
Yay, did very well yesterday. Hope things will continue along this line.
B - CROWW bread (cinnamon, raisin, oatmeal, whole wheat, walnut), fresh fruit salal
L - PB&J on whole wheat, carrots, tomato, orange
D - chili, salad
S - banana
Today's workout is something cardio (not sure what yet) and bicep/tricep work.

What am I going to have for dinner tonight? This thread means I have to plan ahead!

B - steel cut oats with milk; orange juice
S - don't know if I'll need one with that breakfast - the oats stick with you!
L - Leftovers from dinner - pumpkin soup; banana; water
S - either cottage cheese or peanut butter. I'm working at home and have access to the fridge!
D - The question remains unanswered. Something with spaghetti sauce with TVP in it. But not pasta. Definitely not pasta.

Hello Planners!

Shannon-One of the benefits of this thread is that it does help us to plan ahead.

Shelly- I will be thinking of you today as you go. think of me when you make those healthy choices and I'll be sending you a ^5!

Robin- good job on the good Day!!!

Today:
B- Hot Oat Bran cereal*/ 1 c soy milk
S- 1 yogurt ( 60 cal) and apple
L- w/ girl friends Roasted Red Pepper -Lentil Soup (Cooking Light Annual Recipes, 1999) salad and lo-carb wrap
S- hummus & light english muffin
D- baked monk fish & large salad

Work out is done - ME + jumping jacks + 10" jumping rope and 5" calf stretching (from Jan. rotation)

* I'm finding Hot Oat bran cereal to be very convenient- One serving cooks perfectly ( in the microwave with out exploding) with 1 cup soy milk and it has the same nutrition as steel cut oats.

Shelley - no squash available. There's no way I'm going shopping tonight. Forget it. My current options are 1) to put it over brown rice. Odd but edible. 2) turn it into tomato soup. It actually works... sometimes.

Judy - yes, I know. Planning will be good for me. Hey, do you make homemade hummus or buy a mix? I think I saw a recipe somewhere on this forum I need to dig up. I love the stuff but never eat it. Go figure.

Shannon-
I have a couple of Hummus recipes. The one posted here last week is very good! Although I added a whole jar 12 oz. of drained roasted peppers. yum! I'll edit this if if I can link you to it.
