Moderate Eating March 15, 2006

Let me be the first to say beware the Ides of March. I didn't have time to post yesterday, but have been staying moderately clean since returning from vacation. I sure do have DOMS from starting back up with the workouts though. Todays plan:
B - fresh fruit salad, Grape Nuts Trail Mix cereal w/ soy milk
L - tuna wrap w/ brown rice, carrots and cherry tomatos, orange
D - something Italian (going out tonight)
S - stick pretzels, fruit
I'm not sure what the workout will be today. I should do some weight training, but since I'm off tomarrow (I work the weekend), I may save it for then and just do cardio today. Make today a good one!

B - 2 ww pancakes with applesauce and a tiny bit of PB; oj
S - orange; half of a Breakfast Cookie from the Cathe cookbook
L - chickpeas and rice with broccoli and tahini sauce
S - raw carrot; leftover chickpeas from the casserole
D - Oh, shoot. I haven't even thought about it.

Chocolate was my downfall yesterday.:(

Today:

B - steel cut oats with banana and soy milk
S - apple and 1 slice 7 grain toast with pb
L - pineapple black bean enchilada (I was supposed to have this yesterday but ended up going out instead), orange, lf yogurt
S - cottage cheese with cinnamon and diced fresh pear
D - brown rice and veggies

Workout is first half of MIC and Legs and Glutes. I might throw some core in if I have time.
 
Good morning! I had a great day yesterday. Not weighing myself until next week though due to TOM.

B: lite eng muffin, ff ham, coffee
S: apple, ff cottage cheese
L: soup, apple
S: banana, protein shake
D: spag, 1pc garlic bread, salad
S: kashi mixed w/ff yogurt

Today's workout is: 3.5 mile walk, S&H back and #3 from CoreMax.

Shannon, where do you get you WW pancakes or is it a recipe?

So far so good this week....

Br - WW bagel, 1 T lf cream cheese, egg beaters, oatmeal with raisins, coffee

Sn - sweet potato smoothie

Ln - 1/2 c pl yogurt with 1/2 c grapes, banana and lt mayo sandwich on WW

Sn - 1/2 c pl yogurt with 1/2 c grapes

Dn - Rosemary roasted chicken salad on WW, large salad with lt vinegrette

I'm getting excited for the April get together!

Yesterday was good. I must have been too busy to think about forbidden food.

Today
B- Hot oat bran/ soy milk
S- nf yogurt, fruit
L- left over split pea soup and large green salad
S- hummus, carrots and coffee
D- greens and beans (i didn't get to make it yesterday) probably a garlic toasted lo-carb tortilla to go with it. or 2oz. whole wheat pasta.

I have to go to a black tie event this weekend and tried on a gown from 1998 when I was crazy on Weight watchers. It is a bit tight. But I like my body now and so I'm going to see if I can get it altered. I don't like to spend a lot of moola on formal wear. I spend most of my time in casual wear and work out clothes. :p


ETA- I put MIC hi-lo on while doing my Treadmill run and it was a nice "pacer" for aiding in gradually increasing speed. I also did PS BBA first thing this AM.

hello everyone:

yesterday went well. Today I don't really have a plan as hubby and I are going to spend the day together and when we do that all plans go to H%ll!

B - Steel cut oats/lf milk

rest of the day, play by ear and try not to be too bad!

By the way Purple Magada I have the same tactic as you. I AVOID the scale for about a week and a half at TTOM. I feel much better for it!

Hi all moderate eaters. I have kids out of school all week (spring break) so just been very busy around here.

B= 1 egg on toasted whole wheat english muffin half with a slice of canadian bacon, apple and tea, of course.

S=yogurt with fiber one
L=not sure...we all have dentist appts today so depends on how long that takes.

rest of day not planned yet either. Need to stop and get groceries while we are in town today so will pick up fish is there is anything nice lookin in the counter.

Did treadmill walk today. Yesterday did the 20-20-20 MishMosh posted over on the Video forum. Check it out. :D

Oh and also did the new dvd I got, Janis Saffell Brand New Butt Plus Pilates...highly recommend it for the band work. There is also a 20 minute bonus step workout that I did do...but wasn't thrilled with it. Just prefer Cathe's step work to other's.
