Am I really the first one to start this?

B - steel cut oats with honey and cinnamon
S - maybe some yogurt
L - more of that darned goolash I made the other day. This is the last of it, thank goodness
S - orange
D - I'm trying to cook barley in the crockpot. If it works, I'll add some kidney beans and stuff to it. If not, I guess I'll just eat the can of kidney beans.

Hi Shannon and all who follow :7

I am a big fan of Barley too.

Yesterday I got munchies in the afternoon and indulged in some Wheat
Thins, so I lightened up my dinner a bit.

Later in the evening I had a small bowl; yes it was small! of no-sugar-added vanilla ice cream and 2 Hersheys kisses.

today:
B- Hot Oat Bran / soy milk 1 c
S- gr. apple 1/2 c cottage cheese
L- soy burger on light english muffin and tomato soup.(yesterday ended up being lentils again so I missed my my tomato soup)
s- light english muffin with 1 oz melted LF cheese.( I have to use up the english muffins)
D- turkey meatloaf (from BFL cookbook), spaghetti squash, and salad

*** I think My kids will be glad to have DH and I gone for a week so they don't have to eat a big salad x( every evening! The sitter will be more relaxed about ordering out for them. :9

Hi ladies! I didn't think I'd be around today, but I stopped off at the library and had time to log on. Judy, love, love, love all the fresh seafood in the Caribbean! I did well yesterday. DH and I ended going out to Wendy's for dinner, and I had the mandarin chicken salad. Today:

B - fresh fruit salad, 2 slices CROWW bread w/PB
L - I decided, after inspiration from you all, to try the wrap thing-I made a salad out of smoked tune, wasabi mayo, minced green pepper and onion and put it on a wheat tortilla with brown rice, lettuce and red grapes - Oh, my goodness, was it tasty. Now I'm ready to open my own restaurant, The Wrappery, and make a fortune! Also had some carrots and yougart with the wrap.
D - taco, refried beans, rice
S - banana w/PB

I did chest and shoulder work this morning, followed by Rhthymic Step. Now I'm off to run errands. See you all tomarrow.

Hi everyone. I'm just back from vacation and let me tell you, trying to eat healthy in restaurants for a week was a huge challenge. The best meal I had was at an Outback steak house...7oz. beef fillet, sweet potatoe and steamed vegetables. It was delicious especially after hoofin it around Disney all day.

The rest of the week was if'y at best. Had to order a hamburger then take the bun off and scrape off any dressing/condiments they had added. Finding fresh fruit or vegetables other than french fries was more than challenging. I was happy to see that in Mickey's Toontown there was a vendor selling oranges, bananas and apples. One banana = $.99. Ridiculous but they got ya!

I'm relieved to be back home and get back to my normal diet and exercise regimen.

I am planning a huge bowl of real oatmeal in the morning, along with a slice or two of real whole wheat bread. Then I am heading to the grocery to resupply the frige. I am addicted to sugar pea pods and I eat those all the time. Have...not...had...pea pods...for...a week. Or cauliflower, or...!!!
